Better than the first trailer. I'd heard somewhere that The Joker either isn't in it all that much or spends the bulk of the film inside his cell - this trailer certainly disproves both of those notions.

They do seem to be pushing Margot Robbie to the forefront of the film though.

Love the trailer. I'm really liking what DC is doing with their universe. It feels so fresh after spending so long with just Marvel movies (not that I don't enjoy Marvel but I love this something a bit different).

Bohemium Rhapsody is a lazy song choice. Not sold on this film at all same with Batman vs Superman.

Loved the last trailer but hated that one! Never had my excitement for a film crushed so much from a trailer lol. It made it look like some awful comedy and genuinely reminded me of Batman and Robin!!! Hoping it's just the style of the trailer but even Harley disappointed me in that and she is the main reason I am excited for the film.

That just ruined the whole film, didn't it.

Should have left it at the first trailer, that looked awesome.

I loved that trailer. I was hoping to see more of the chaos and anarchy and humour that I associate with the Suicide Squad after the seriousness of the last trailer and this did the job perfectly without giving away any plot. It was less a trailer than an overwhelming kaleidoscope of scenes and images, which works for me. It's probably the comic book film I'm most looking forward to this year.

I liked the trailer too. The subject matter is grim, but there's also a sense of black humour and even whimsy absent from the Nolan and Snyder DC films. I wasn't keen on Margot Robbie initially, but she seems to have nailed the Harley Quinn character here. Of all the DC film adaptations, this is the one I am looking forward to the most.

I liked the trailer and I'm (personally) looking forward to this movie more than any other film released this year.

Harley Quinn is also my favourite DC Character and from what I've seen (so far) from the trailer Margot Robbie will more than likely do a great job portraying her.

This will be better than Batman V Superman. Ben Affleck always seemed more excited about SS than he did about BvS.

Will have to go some to beat Deadpool for me. But it does look good though - the new trailer has probably made my mind up to go and see it.

Love the new trailer, glad they've injected some post-Deadpool humour into the mix too (if the rumours are true). After Deadpool, this has been the movie I've been most looking forward to this year. I hope there's no more trailers now until reelease though, I always get a worrying feeling they're showing too much and spoiling it.

That was false. The re-shoots were nothing to do with trying to make it more funny and people just came up with that due to critics description of BvS.

Looking forward to seeing Batman's role in this and I am still hoping Nightwing makes an appearance in this film!!!

Looks miles better than BvS. The problem MoS (and BvS) made was going with the whole "what if all his happened in the 'real' world" angle which was a massive mistake.

Suicide Squad looks brash and neon and weird and occupying that heightened reality movie world and looks all the better for it. It actually looks like the DC universe and not our universe with Batman shoehorned in it.

The Director tweeted yesterday to quash the rumours.

#SuicideSquad “reshoots for humor” is silly. When a studio loves your movie and asks what else you want, go for it! #ThanksWB #moreaction

Reshoots for big budget films like this are commonplace. If memory serves, they went back to do a lot of reshoots for the recent hobbit trilogy and nobody batted an eyelid.

No-one would have really have thought anything about it but has been blown out of proportion as BvS had zero humour in it at all and many thought that was a big mistake.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that was really the case or not, hence my (if the rumours are true) caveat. The new trailer does seem to highlight the humour in the movie more than the previous two though, so I wonder if that particular choice was perhaps a post-Deadpool move, or to maybe distance itself from the po-faced grimness of BvS. Either way, I like it, and i'm looking forward to it even more now.

Me too, I think this movie will suit Afflecks Batman more than BvS did.
