I hate it when people say Deadpool is MarveL. Yes, it's a Marvel property but it was released by Fox.
But it is Marvel. Deadpool is a Marvel Comic.
But Fox/Marvel is a world of difference to Disney/Marvel

I've been avoiding ALL trailers. I can't wait.
well done! Wish I had done the same!!!

Indeed. It's interesting that whenever Sony or Fox release a good Marvel film people call it a "Marvel movie" but when they're bad they call it a Fox/Sony movie...

Where have you seen these because worryingly there is a review embargo on it until tomorrow. Hence, there is nothing on Rotten Tomatoes for it yet.

I want the film to be good but delaying the release of reviews until the last minute is a concerning sign.
Read a couple of spoiler free reviews on twitter who say Margot Robbie steals the show.

Even from the trailers, it looked like she was on course to steal the show.

That can't be a surprise though. She's a fantastic actress with bags of charisma, playing a larger than life fan-favourite. Tailor made for her.

I doubt Oscars, the Accademy are notably not fans of Superhero or Action films and with a slew of films already scheduled for Toronto, Teluride, , Venice ...etc I doubt it'll get a look-in when the awards season kicks in

As long as it's not as disappointing as BvS, I'll be happy!

Tickets booked for Tuesday, cannot wait!

Empire have tweeted that the review embargo on Suicide Squad will be lifted at 5pm today and they will be posting their review then!

Early reviews are very negative.

Just when you think the summer movie season can't get any worse, along come the 'Worst. Heroes. Ever.'

Bland, boring, and sometimes borderline incoherent.

David Ayer's super-villain team-up is dull, uninspired, and perhaps worst of all, forgettable.
But Empire like it.

Like Avengers Assemble forced through a Deadpool mangle, Suicide Squad gives new life to DC’s big-screen universe. So bad-to-the-bone it’s good. ****

Yikes maybe it's time to just get those who handle the DC TV universe to make a movie.

I didn't really like Nolan's batman but at least the movies were good.

WB are going to have to make some decisions going forward as it looks like they are now 0 - 2 which is a terrible start for the DC universe cinematic films.

Via Vanity Fair's review:

If you can believe it, Suicide Squad is even worse than Fantastic Four.

Brutal

WB surely have come to the conclusion that the people they have making these films have no idea why DC comics are cool in the first place. I can't believe they manged to mess this up.

The deadshot from Arrow TV show didn't deserve this.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's garbage.

The trailers show far too much Will Smith. I don't want to see a Will Smith movie. His one-note, screen-hogging, egotistical performances aren't entertaining anymore.

And Jai Courtney must have a miracle worker for an agent. How many of his films need to be savaged before he stops getting hired?

It's very polarizing. Empire gave it a 4/5. It currently holds a 9.3 on IMDB.

Agree about Will Smith, it seems him and Maggie are the only two actors in it.. screen-hoggers !

Total Film only gave it 3 stars their verdict said it started off flavourful but ended up bland!

A lot of reviews I've seen so far seem to vary but I've not seen anything like that Vanity Fair quote yet!

Although isn't Vanity Fair a fashion magazine?

Guardian gave it 3 stars as well with the review saying it promised madness and it delivers a dense downpour of madness but it could have done with some fun and lightness of touch!
