Has anyone managed to enable developer mode on the black Now TV box?

I've followed the instructions and got as far as enabling the mode and restarting the box. According to what I've been told, the box should then ask me to create a password - this never happens.

When I enter the IP address of the box, nothing happens.

I've retried it several times, to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes. I have sideloaded "Plex" to a NOW TV 2nd gen (black) box. Followed the instructions in the thread named "Plex - Sideloading" in the NOW TV Box (black) section on their community without any problems. So it can be done! I noted that some users have had to do it twice to be successful.

Just tried it again - 4th time! - and it worked fine.
