Kind of a crossover thread - TV and Music, but more music based, so it's here

I have to say that when I first watched the pilot of Nashville, I wasn't impressed and didn't bother with it, but when I saw the boxset available for dowload, I thought I'd give it a second chance and was hooked. I love the songs in it, so much so that I've done something that I've never done before and bought the soundtrack cds.

The story lines are a bit soapy for me but I still watch it for the music, being a country fan at's the easiest way to get a fix of country music in the UK apart from listening to Bob Harris

Good thing you gave it another chance. It's silly to dismiss a show based on one episode. Like songs or albums, you need to give things more of a chance before writing it off.

My fav song from the show is Don't put dirt on my grave just yet, which is from season 2.

I think the cast are better than the scripts. Plenty of good music and "lots of boots."

Hayden Panettiere particularly impresses me, has done since I first saw her as a ten year-old playing a seven year-old in this.

Saw the cast in concert last year. They do great things live too.
