he is awesome, the best thing in corrie in ages,l could'nt stop laughing at the way he stood in the middle of the road to stop the car.
I would have laughed much louder if dozy Kevin hadn't pushed him out of the way & put an end to this whole sorry saga!

I didn't (& still don't) understand the Phelan love on these forums. I think he's an odious character & the sooner he goes the better!
Probably because he is one of the better actors and enjoyable to watch. I hope he sticks around for a while, but no doubt this story will be short term.

Sorry, I don't often like to comment on this site now, me being a persona non grata person and all that..haha... but cannot believe what I'm reading here.

Does no one remember at all how Windarse tarted herself up like she was going to be the Bride of Frankenstein to go meet up with Phelan?

She was preening and primping herself stupid beforehand. Who the hell does that going to meet a man you 'supposedly' lol HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also didn't she arrange for Phelan to come around to speak to her privately just so that she could ask him nicely to leave her alone? In private lol.

A few too many mixed messages from old hmmming and ha ing and not really being straight about anything, middle aged, attention seeking big baby WIndass. Funny how coy and coquettish she can be when she's not shouting and screaming like a wicked stepmother isn't it?

Plus he invited her to the hotel and when she did turn up he told her she didn't have to go through with it. However she did, he didn't force her to do anything. It was her choice and she chose to go through with it. So I don't know why she is acting all frightened and breaking down behind the door, such an exaggeration.

Thank you.

Anna ignored Wheels' advice to have someone there when Phelan came around. But now, she decided to speak in private, made herself look nice and sent a cryptic text.

She has herself to blame. She didn't warn Owen, she chose to have sex with Phelan and done herself up in the process. Acted like she was the only person who could resolve the mess.

how dare people come on here and slate the great phelan, this is a guy that risked his own life to stop a moving car because he saw the possible danger carla was in of being dragged to her death without having the pleasure of spending at least 1 night with phelan.

But I'm not making a joke of it. I think any man who violates a woman should be castrated.

Anyone (male or female) who sexually assaults a child should have done to them what they did to the child and then locked up in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives.
Phelan did not violate Anna, he did not sexually assault her.

Yeah. Especially that horrible time she pretended to be pregnant and humiliated Kevin's date.

Won't be laughing now that Phelan is back.

I loved it when Phelan shouted - are you going to tell on me? - at Anna while she quivered and squirmed in the doorway. So funny.

Haha, that was brilliant.

I can't wait for the hot head Gary to return and for Phelan to push his buttons.

Phelan is the father figure Gary needs in his life. He'll be calling him daddy soon enough.

Phelan is fantastic. He never forced Anna to do anything, she turned up of her own free will at that hotel room, and he even gave her the option to back out, which she could have done if she really didn't want to go through the with it. She's not a victim so why is she acting like one. At the end of the day she said yes to him, no point acting all little miss innocent 'oh boohoo he made me do it' about it now.

Obviously none of you have dealt with real people involved in cases of coerced or forced sex. The effect on their lives haunts them for years, and in some cases for the rest of their lives..

So most of you seem to think that Jamie blackmailing Luke into racing by threatening to post photos of Steph on line was wrong, but Phelan blackmailing Anna into having sex by promising that both Owen and Gary would go to jail if she didn't because he had CCTV of them attacking him is OK. She wasn't raped but she was coerced.

I'm waiting for the hilarity when they show sexual abuse of a child.

I find things funny if they're funny, but my experience of dealing with cases like this and others doesn't make it even amusing to me.

When these things happen in the real world to real people they are not funny but when they happen in a fictitious world to fictitious people they can be funny the ability to distinguish between what is fictional and what is real is what is important here.

So a fictional story about child abuse would be funny?

No, it's about blackmailing a woman to have sex - coercion.
