I noticed that too. I saw the lovely Pixie Lott appear on the big screen with her cheeky smile and I was thinking, just a minute here, she was a contestant on the 2014 series. What is going on? I guess it was just a technical error and I don't even think people are that bothered about that at all.
I thought that was pretty funny too... Tess' speech was a bit cack as well but fair enough. Its a shame the people who were there are hardly representative of Strictly at its best, but they have far more important things to be doing right now.

I can't say I'm that fussed about them winning though, it will make the producers etc. smug and believe everything they did in the last series was wonderful. More of the same, or possibly worse, beckons.

Tristan is in the current Mrs Brown's Boys play in Australia ("Good Mourning, Mrs Brown") - it starts this Friday night in Wollongong, NSW. I don't know if he's doing the play's whole tour, which lasts till March 12, but I'd assume so.
I thought he was still on tour in the states but that ended in December I think so that makes sense

Very pleased for Strictly I especially loved Dermot saying it was his new favorite show

See Brendan has been having another dig at Aliona saying he will miss some of the pros that are leaving and not others, hmmm I'm sure she won't miss him.
On the digitalspy site it says, and I'm quoting....
'Cole - who was partnered with presenter Kirsty Gallagher last year - also revealed that he'll miss some of the departing dancers including Ola Jordan and Aliona Villani, but not others'.

So it's Kristina he won't miss, isn't it?

Well done to Strictly by the way. They prob should have won it last year too going on ratings, but maybe fans just forgot to vote for them last year, I don't recollect voting last year but remembered this year.

No, I would say it's definitely Aliona, the article you're quoting is just poorly written - they seem to be unaware that Kristina has confirmed she won't be back.

He used a photo of Aliona for promoting a Tour she wasn't on and on commercial products he sold - without her permission.

Aliona objected and Brendan settled out of court and made a payment.
Thanks, I completely missed this case between them.

I thought her acceptance speech was fine but then Dermot starting interviewing her to fill up time and she was caught unprepared so kept repeating the same thing and ran out of new things to say.

Saw this on Twitter:

Kristina Rihanoff Retweeted
Team Windanoff ‏@TeamWindanoff 5h5 hours ago

.@BrendanCole "Kristina is a lovely girl and she's chosen to have a baby; I think that's a lovely thing and should be celebrated,"@KRihanoff

so I think that writer was just clumsy. He or she may have just been naming two of the "departing dancers" but not specifying which ones Brendan would miss.

Think Brendan's just being a moody sod because someone actually wasn't taking his BS

He's doing regular "periscopes" now on Twitter, from the rehearsal hall, hyping his next tour. Either he's trying to keep up with the times or he's worried about ticket sales?

Desperate times certainly call for desperate measures, the only time I would have been bothered to attend his tour was when aliona was involved and ticket sales boomed, however I couldn't make it but now..

I'm sensing a little sarcasm from your post well let's put it this way strictly were going to loose their most successful pro, and yes aliona did appear on Brendan's so called tour and people were extremely impressed by the show that was put on and most people have said and I quote "there were not enough seats to sit on because arenas were so packed" I'm going to assume this was because of the presence of aliona that magically made his tour so popular. And I wouldn't thank god that Natalie got injured but yes one thing was to be lost and my oh my another one was to be gained.

As Brendan has been touring for at least 5 years and it is still selling well without Aliona and she was only part of one tour I hardly think that Aliona made his tour so popular yes Aliona was amazing in the show and of course 2 strictly pros are going to be more popular than one but don't be putting down Brendan to make a point he has a successful show in his own right.

I was simply replying back to a rather sarcastic comment about aliona okay now how did this thread turn in to a aliona and Brendan thread?? And I don't agree with your "two strictly pros are more popular than one" theory partly because I have no clue what your trying to imply but let's leave it at that shall we

Just because someone made a sarcastic comment about Aliona doesn't mean you have to stoop to that level by saying things like his so called tour and she made his tour.

As for two pros are more popular than one i thought that was quite self explanatory obviously not all i meant was Aliona fans may not be fans of Brendan but would go to see the tour as Aliona was there and vice versa whereas if it is one pro only their fans will go.

Other than that I agree with you I don't know how this turned into another Brendan and Aliona and we should leave it here

I love that Tristan is obviously still good friends with Jennifer. Wonder if he'll stay mates with Jamelia.

I would say a combination of worrying about poor ticket sales and worrying that his ego is not being sufficiently massaged by the public.
