Short Spine Syndrome - Dogs
I've come across a few stories lately about these dogs, although worldwide there are only a handful of them with this condition. I'm interested to know what other people think of them, or rather of the idea that they're "cute", etc. I'm concerned that in the US they may become a trend in the way that so-called munchkin cats did. Some people are already trying to breed them although I don't know how much success (if that's the right word) they've had. Great emphasis is placed on the fact that the dogs don't suffer, but I'm not convinced. What do you think?
Here's a link to an article and there are videos on YouTube if anyone's interesting in seeing one of these dogs. http://www.boredpanda.com/shes-real-and-shes-perfect/ |
