Went last night in Birmingham. What a fantastic show!
Mel is the perfect host, very witty and so funny. The show started late at 7.40 and ran till 10.20. It overan slightly, Mel was joking around, had the audience in stitches. She kept mentioning Crufts?? And was obsessing over Gleb, which he took in his stride. Jay had a black ponytail wig on for the jive, which ended up on Len Goodmans head, hilarious! So very funny. The dancing was sublime, so many good performances. The show opened with Georgias charleston. What a great dancer she is, the chemistry with Giovanni really shows. Helen viennese waltz was stunning, beautiful, she should have made it to the final. One of my favourites. Frankies tango to defying gravity, wow what a dance, really good. She wore a green eye mask rather than the face paint. Anitas paso went down a storm, so atmospeheric and full of drama. Jays jive, wow what a dance, that was the final dance. The crowd went wild. You could tell that Jay and Anita were the top 2 by the cheers. Gleb was very popular too. So Jay won and Anita was 2nd. A fantastic show, i want to go again. Saw Alison Hammond, she was in the audience and we waved to her. Molly King from the Saturdays was also there too. |

Helen & Aljaz's Viennese Waltz:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1J8CG8lerw And Ainsley & Karen's Tango (Karen's dress is fabulous!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1J8CG8lerw Such a shame none of them are actually using the full floor - they're all staying up on the platform
