Sinead in Hollyoaks last scene was her drinking wine then storming out the door. Exit never got filmed because of Steph Davies' contract being terminated.
Many Brookside characters never had exits when the show was axed. Max seemed to have left several months before the show ended, and was always 'working'. Jacqui's last appearance was in the penultimate episode where Ron and Bev remarried, along with Mike and Rachel who's last scene was when Rachel gave birth. Sammy and Katie Rogers did have an exit storyline but didn't have leaving scenes, too.

Denzel in Emmerdale, he was a policeman that dated Chas. I think the last we saw him was when Shadrach stole his police car and crashed it. After that he just seemed to vanish.

I was always gutted about how he got written out. He was last seen living on the streets, homeless, due to drugs, I remember a last scene where he was found homeless and one of his friends just walked away saying he'd "never change" or something then...that's it, wasn't seen again. Don't know if it was assumed he'd have died because of it but, closure would have been nice
There was a guy called Matt in Home and Away, who was a friend of Adam's who vanished in about 1990 - I think he breifly returned in 2002 but I'd long since stopped watchinh by then
From Hollyoaks, there was a headteacher called Pete who just disappeared as well - the one with the wheelchair. I think he just decided to quit when they changed his whole story.
Seth Costello just disappeared off to live with an aunty I think. And there was a character called Jodie who Texas had a snog with who then just disappeared.
Think they were all victims of new producers coming in who shunted them aside.

Yeah, the other singer was Lola, played by Diane Parish, who plays Denise and his ex was Alice, played by Carli Norris, who also played Belinda.

I remember him - the surfer. He was a boring character!
Clive Gibbans (vet in Neighbours). Was a big character around 1986-87 but vanished but he was meant to still be around and did indeed reappear for a small guest stint 1989 and still never got a proper exit
most of the Young Doctors disappeared without exits - although this could have been because ITV cut scenes/storylines
Didn't Jackie Corkhill's sister Val in Brookside just stop appearing?
She was mentioned plenty of times before she actually materialised onscreen.

The last I remembered about Lyn, she was shocked and sickened by Scott's affair with Kelly. She may have left without telling him through being so sickened.
Another is Minnie Chandra, a friend of Dev's daughter. She flirted with Tyrone to some extent but has not been back since October 2009.
Emmerdales Viv Hope and Terry woods, yes I know they kinda had a leaving storyline, but it might aswell not have been a Storyline.
Deana Payne who played Viv for years, spent her last episode sat on a sofa asleep, while fire was raging in the roof of her cafe, that was disrespecting her, and the viewers who invested time in her.
Terry was morealess just sent in the building to basically be fried, he had a little bit more of the storyline, but still a bad job

Stephanie Davis last scene not aired was her drinking, well that sums up poor Stephanie by the sounds of it
Candy, Paula and Nathan in Hollyoaks all disappeared.
It really annoyed me at the time cause these characters had been built up and all of a sudden just stopped appearing!
It annoys me general when characters disappear. Doesn't happen so often now thankfully, but even a throwaway line for closure is good!
