Anyone tried these? Seen the D'Aucy make in the shops. Mixed reviews, some love them and others say they're awful. Only one way to find out I reckon...

Not since school dinners back in the days before everyone had huge freezers! Seem to remember they are very soft and mushy.
I've tried loads of veg over the last few years as I've changed my diet to more healthy eating .............and I have had fresh sprouts several different ways but never quite liked them and I've given up on them now
I can't imagine tinned sprouts will be any better !
UPDATE. Hubby bought a tin in corner shop last night. Strange smell, brownish colour and very very soft but we actuially like the taste! We eat a lot of tinned veg. anyway.

Neither have I. Never knew they existed. Don't think I'd like them though, bit like tinned runner beans which don't taste the same as fresh.
I only like sprouts fresh or frozen.
Tinned Brussels sprouts - bear no relation to fresh ones,. Be warned! But puréed with bacon bits and/or carrots, butter and pepper they make for an interesting companion to your roasts. But never be tempted to serve them as a solo vegetable unless you have lost the will to live!

I like sprouts, but I need to cook them for a lot longer than that which I think probably means I don't really like them. I'm told they are better fried, but I've never tried that.
Oh my God I love tinned sprouts! sprouts are my favourite food anyway, when I used to work in a corner shop we used to sell them but no one used to buy them so I used to eat them. They are expensive though, considering the price of fresh ones (well in the winter anyway).
They don't sell them in my local Morrisons
If anyone in Brighton sees this post and knows where I can get them please let me know?
