That's exactly right. When she said she finally clarified which David, she meant in that later conversation with Daniella, not the initial one with Tiffany.
I thought on BBOTS she stated that it was a misunderstanding which she was responsible for by first picking the wrong person to tell, and then not specifically stating "David Bowie my former husband" rather than just David.
I don't see that she is trying to get out of it, or shift blame in her interviews since.
