My beautiful gf has offered to lend me a cool £300. Im in a nice dilemma. Im thinking of either

*sky+ box
*Sony KV28HX15 / DVPNS355 / SLVSE740 package
*Sony DVD Recorder

Any advise on any of the above would be be most helpful.

Suppose a lot of it depends on what you watch.
If you watch a lot of tv, I'd go for Sky+.
You can always upgrade your tv etc at a later date, but I couldn't live without sky+.

Wouldn't bother with the VCR if you're getting the Sony package, better to add a bit yourself and get a dvd recorder instead of the DVPNS355.

Thats very true. Im going off the package as my heart is set on a larger screen anyway. I may go with the sky+ but it means reactivation of my BT line.. cheers fore the advice though..
