I have the chance to buy a new Nexus 9 32gb 4G/ LTE with warranty for £259.99. (The deal is legit)
I appreciate this is a huge discount, but I'm a little concerned about the reviews. Most of them aren't that complimentary. Is it perhaps the case that the Nexus 9 was overpriced and that in a sense £259 is in a sense not that great a deal but simply what it's actually worth?
If anyone has experience with the Nexus 9 I'd be interested in their opinions on a few things. Is the screen underwhelming? Is the lack of a card slot really all that big a deal? is 2Gb RAM enough? How bad is the lightbleed issue? Is it exaggerated and something only fussy tech geeks would really be that bothered by?
I was considering a Tab S 8.4 as well. Would the extra RAM and SD card in this model really be a massive advantage? I also have a chance to buy a Nexus 7 - is the extra size of the Nexus 9 all that noticeable in every day use? I imagine the widescreen of the Nexus 7 would mean that films are almost the same size as on the 9.
Any other points I should consider?
