I know !

Most people that age demand to be treated like adults .... any fussing and fretting being met with an indignant "For God's sake ... "I'm not a child !"

At what age do Stephanie ( and her mum ) think people should start behaving like adults and take responsibility for their own actions ?

I am voting Steph to win, her odds are too crazy not to

So losing her grandad to cancer (and I'm not lessening the impact of losing someone you love) gives her an excuse to behave towards other people the way she does?

Maybe if Stephanies Mum took her aside and told her a few home truths instead of excusing bad behaviour then it would result in a kinder more mature daughter . Pandering to Stephanies childish ways is doing the young woman no favours at all

She's been through a tough time that makes it okay for her to cheat .
No sympathy from me at all. She should just be told straight but tbh the mother doesn't want to offend Steph will want to stand by her.

I suspect she's NEVER had such a talk with Stephanie, at any age.

She is forever a 'little girl' and 'nothing is her fault'.

This is a shame because she is pretty, vivacious and very talented.

22 is an adult.

She is a complete idiot and the only people who will defend her are Gemma haters.

And?

We've all had tough times. Failed effort at damage limitation.

She hasn't cheated, unlike her bf who DID.

22 is a STUPID adult. The stupid years are 18-25.

The interview with her mum just enforces my belief that Stephanie is a spoiled brat who's been indulged and got her own way her entire life.

Imagine the state of us all and the world we lived in if we all rolled out these excuses.

I get the impression her mum has pandered to her every whim all of her life, and she's never had to do anything or take any responsibility for herself or her actions, which would explain why she's so immature.

it's only a stupid adult if you're a stupid person.

I was married with two children when I was 22, I'd lost ALL of my grandparents by the time I was 13, and my dad when I was 21.

I'm pretty well adjusted and normal and basically just not a spoiled brat.

When I was fifteen I was at my cousin's and my mum fell asleep. I got back about two hours later and she was gone - she had a brain haemorrhage. Dead on arrival. Shortly after that my brother broke his neck in a motorbike accident. After that, my sister had a heart attack – she suffered with epilepsy. All in the space of fifteen months

22 is young but not nearly young enough to explain or excuse Steph's behaviour. I actually don't think her age is relevant at all. I think she's far too needy and desperate and vulnerable and selfish and lacking in empathy or sympathy to be let out alone quite frankly. She isn't making a mistake that has anything to do with youth in my view, her mistakes are to do with her very messed up and spoilt character.

Stephanie is part of the sob story generation. It seem's like they all think that what they go through in life is tough.......well, you're nothing special, we all go through tough situations in life. There isn't a single person in the world that hasn't had it tough at points in their lives.
