I don't think they'd fix it for John to win, because he'd survive another vote I think.

He could be lying to maintain surprise (like Scotty T saying he was going to France the day before CBB launch). I actually don't see him going in, but if Steph and Jeremy were saved then he went in, it'd be an even more blatant fix than Gemma.
