Whilst looking at the betting odds for big brother, I noticed that there is a special page for Xfactor too. Some interesting names suggested for this year's judging panel.

Simon Cowell 1/5
Rita Ora 1/4
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini 1/4
Nick Grimshaw 4/5
Louis Tomlinson 5/4
Mel B 10/1
Tulisa Contostavlos 10/1
Paloma Faith 10/1
Nicole Scherzinger 12/1
Sharon Osbourne 12/1
Demi Lovato 16/1
Jessie J 16/1
Gary Barlow 16/1
Robbie Williams 16/1
Olly Murs 20/1
Ellie Goulding 20/1
Tom Jones 25/1
Mark Owen 25/1
Alexandra Burke 25/1
Adele 25/1
Rihanna 25/1
Madonna 33/1
Peter Andre 40/1

Who do you think will be on the panel?

I thought it was strange he wasn't on the list too unless he's already said he won't be doing it? Not heard that though.

I would love to see Grimmy back, though at first people weren't keen on having him as a judge. He really did a great job last year.

Keeping or axing Rita, there isn't much to care. Though I would love Jessie J on the panel, even though she criticized the show before.

Axe Cheryl! Get Nicole Scherzinger back! Cheryl did okay last year but Nicole was by a mile better than Cheryl.

Get Gary Barlow! Or Keep Simon! Though Simon was disappointing on the previous series.

But having Adele on X Factor as a judge would be a major signing I don't think she would do well as a mentor. Look a Britney, on the US show.

Well, it's a Simon Cowell ego trip so of course Cheryl will be there as executive producer once again. Louie Walsh will return too, and I reckon Louis from 1D will complete the line up.

Who is going to present the show? Will they bring Dermot back? Or Kate Thornton? Or will they risk it all on Olly and Caroline again?

I think Louis from 1D will be there too but not sure the odds justify a bet, £40 would only return £50 plus your money back. Worth a punt at this stage?

Don't know why Rita's so high, she's obsessed with her fame and I doubt she'd want to be on a show perceived as a sinking ship.
I really cannot see Nick back either. And looking at The Voice's ratings so far this year, Simon will avoid Paloma Faith like the plague.

I read she didn't want to do another year

Some of the names on that betting page are ridiculous. For example, they would never have Alexandra Burke as a permanent judge after the negative reaction to her guest judge appearance. I would have said there was no way Rita will be back, but now that she is having management / record label issues, who knows.

Personally I'd prefer Simon, Sharon, Louis (Walsh) and it would be nice to have Nicole back

I'm glad that the 4 from last series are top of the list with the best odds. I personally loved the judges last year and would like them to remain the same. Loved Grimmy please have him Rita and Simon back. Not too bothered what happens to CFV though. also have Rylan and Davina Mc Call Presenting

Yes, Rylan would do a better job than Olly did!

Bizarre that Walsh isn't on the list, I've have said he is the most likely returnee.

If Simon chooses Louis Tomlinson, I guarantee this series will be the last ever. If you thought Ora and Grimshaw were bad enough in an attempt to 'talk to the youths', just imagine the ugly and tuneless member of One Direction giving out advice to contestants. Ratings will plummet further.

I think Cowell needs to go for Walsh, Osbourne and Scherzinger. Great chemistry and they all genuinely love the show (also unpredictable).

Nicole was sexy and brought a taste of America and good knowledge to the show!! She was also really funny

That cant be right. Surely they have more chance of getting Peter Andre than Madonna

I definitely think Simon and Cheryl will be back. Rita might just because she won last year. Nick wont be because he was crap and boring, even though I liked Che and wanted him to win. I just hope they don't bring back louis but got a bad feeling he'll replace Nick. Olly definitely wont be back and Caroline will just be a sole presenter, I think they'll get rid of Rochelle and Melvin

Unfortunately, I think it's almost a given that Louis Tomlinson will be on the panel. 2015's Judges Houses felt like a test run. So if Cheryl is back they will have 2 judges who are supposed to be singers but vocally challenged on the panel.

Then I think Simon can officially kiss the show goodbye. Tomlinson has no respectable voice in the music industry - he can't sing a note in tune himself. It's clear from the terrible ratings from this year's show that its the older viewers who are tuning in - they need somebody for that audience.

I agree the show will probably be gone after next year. it was bad this year and I could tell the difference from 2009. to start with in 2004 the show was good but now I think its had its run. I personally thought Olly and Caroline looked really uncomfortable presenting and their lack of previous presenting showed here when they were both making mistakes. I think Rylan has great personality and that's what the show is missing and needs this year IMO

I think if this year is the last one I don't see why they should waste their money hiring new judges and they may as well just keep it the same IMO

Unfortunately I feel Cheryl will be back.
Also a good chance to milk the break-up situation...isn't she also back in the studio this year?
She'll want to pedal her wares on the show also, obviously!!!!!!!

X Factor needs resting but ITV will allow it to limp on...

Cannot see Nick returning - He was ok, but hardly anything revolutionary!
I don't listen to the radio so I haven't been sucked into all the hype about him.

I think James Blunt would be a great judge for the show. He did a really good job on the australian version. His comments were funny, serious and he was competitive.

Yes, agree completely! But he does love Australia and wouldn't be able to do both series as they both clash.

Who knows if he is coming back to australia next season. I read he is becoming a dad so maybe it is to much effort with traveling for him.

I don't see the ratings improving much and something tells me if they change the panel the show will decline further, they may as well just stop trying to fix it since nothing is working just keep everything the same do the next series and then drop it
