'The freed slave is happy' - We'll just have to start calling him, "the showrunner formally known as Moffat."
Actually, that would be The Moffat, formerly known as Showrunner.

Comics writer Andrew Wheeler isn't very happy about the new boss:

I would trust any of you to write a better Doctor Who than Chris Chibnall. Unless one of you is Chris Chibnall. Get out of here, Chibnall.

And this bothers me how exactly?

Don't mean to be rude, but is this guy's opinion meant to be more worthy?

Well, Wheeler is also a journalist who writes for "The Guardian" and "The Huffington Post".

He's not just some fan posting stuff up on Twitter.

Given his often-mentioned hatred of Chris Chibnall's work, I'm a bit surprised Lawrence
Miles hasn't commented on this. Miles regularly criticised Steven Moffat with
both barrels.

He has just as much of a say in this matter than fans on twitter.

So he wrote 2 pieces (count them) for the Guardian nearly three years ago, and occasionally posts on Huffpo?

Sorry, he is some fan posting stuff on Twitter.

Next...

Indeed... might as well repost any and every Twitter utterance - they are just as relevant (or rather, as irrelevant) as anything from this guy.

My mum's friend Sue says Chibnall is the best thing since sliced bread and she's not just some random loony woman chatting rubbish, she's read "The Time Traveler's Wife" twice and once bumped into Frazer Hines in Leeds city centre.

Well, yes he is because he has no professional association with the show.
