Same with most of you I have it on but don't really watch just on my iPad, its so cringey the overacting when there slamming or battling each other or whatever they do.

It's just much better. Production, presenters, the celebs.
The first season was on Spike but I can't imagine many people watched it on there as it is a relatively new channel here

The U.S. show has real celebrities and an actual budget. Better production all around.

It's true. It started with 1.8m and other got 1.8m last week too. I can't remember anything apart from CBB or Dallas in the first couple of episodes that has had ratings as high as that.

The wife likes it so it's on. It's a bit silly. Essentially harmless but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.

No I do not watch it. I tried it, but it was rubbish.
As already said the American version is far superior. I used to catch the end of it on Spike whilst waiting for Breaking Bad to start.
