Someone could have put the masks in the box after they stood at their podiums. Also, how come the gold mask was in the last 2 boxes? There would have been no 'suspense' if someone had got it in the first couple of minutes so the boxes were not being operated by the handle turning (which was also fairly obvious as Strphanie was turning hers in the opposite direction to everyone else)

Gemma spoke on live feed that she knows the producer and they worked together on TOWIE.. the fact that they all walked to their box make not a jot to me ..BB will have told Gemma what box to walk to .

Jeremy's box still worked despite his handing breaking off so it definitely wasn't manual something behind the scenes doing the work.

I'd say that would have been the easiest task to fix ever. All BB had to do was pop the white mask for those they didn't want to have immunity, and the gold one for 'the chosen one.' As well as organising it so the two at war with each other were the last two standing.... Yawn.

It could have been specially engineered pillars that actually had two different release mechanisms... Each pillar had both gold and white masks in them and they were able to choose which mask came up for which housemate.

On live feed last night Gemma was saying that she knows the producer as he worked on TOWIE as well and that after her explosion over there not being any hair curlers they were given some and she suggested that was a sweetner to make her stay. Obviously we do not have to believe her and could question why BB allowed us to hear that but as for why they would fix it for her I'd say as a further sweetner and so she would stay.
