I suspect most of the audience won't know or care who has won any shows besides the one they are attending though. I'd want my favourite couple to win the show I was at regardless of previous results, and for a lot of people this is obviously going to Jay & Aliona. I'm sure others will get a chance - I hope Helen and Jake win a few shows in particular - but people won't vote for them because they haven't won any yet, with a few exceptions.
Incidentally I'm pleased that Jay has an early lead of wins on the tour, this would suggest he's the most popular series winner for a while as neither Abby or Caroline did that well on the tour... I think Abby only won one show if I remember correctly? Having said that, I would love to see everyone get their moment with the glitterball. ![]() You may be right about Abby and Caroline, I don't remember myself, but what I do remember is series 6 winner Tom Chambers only winning one show. Rachel Stevens completed dominated that tour. |

I doubt anyone would think its Jay and Alionas 'fault.' (apart from the fact people love them so much). In fact, Jays a lovely guy, and very good friends with them all (and knows how good they all are at dancing) and its very much a team of friends behind the scenes. I could quite easily believe that he'd prefer not to be voted winner day after day too (I certainly would prefer not to if I was in his position) and from reports, he seemed extremely delghted when Anita won. I can understand why. Of course people are going to have their favourites and its up to them who they vote for (they are paying for it!). But as you said, the competition is over, which Jay won. But if Jay wins practically all of them with others not getting a chance at even a night of celebration, I'd say it would become a little less fun. It would be nice to see the likes of Georgia and Helen who dance so well to be given a little bit of recognition. We all know its not that important, but just a chance for them to have their celebration. I think they more than deserve that. I hope I'm speaking too early and people do recognise the others. I don't care if Jay wins 98% of the wins on tour...would just like to see a few of the others have their moment, if only for the one night.
I don't doubt the other dancers are having a great time and camaraderie and fun-levels are high (and nobody wants a pity-win...) but deep down, on a human level, it must be hard to feel you have a chance to shine but never get at least some recognition beyond great applause. I read somewhere that by the end of a previous tour, all the couples were pushing hard for the audience to vote for one of the couples who hadn't yet won. Wish I could recall who. |

I was also there last night and as stated previously it was a fantastic show. Mel was very funny and the dancers all superb.
We had no bag search at all ...and better still, no announcement was made about not taking photographs or video ...I have some great photos from a dance floor seat and even managed to video a couple of dances ..great memories to look back on. Just wish I had done more, but it distracted from actually watching the dances |

Look I agree, Georgia probably most likely will win in her hometown so I know she has a win there and she will be able to celebrate like you want her to. Everyone will win (I think) I think jays happy his winning but his even more happy that others (gleb and Anita) have won as well. But as a jay and aliona supporter im not really complaining

She needs to round up her followers on snap chat to do vote for her. I'd like to know all the snap chat accounts of all SCD celebrities and professionals.

It makes perfect sense. Only those at the shows can vote. So even if someone has a billion followers, if they are not at the show, they cannot vote!

I agree that while it may seem a little boring to some posters, especially if their own favourite hasn't won yet, not everyone going to the show will be on here tracking what happens. The majority of people will only know about the one show they are going to, so previous wins are irrelevant.
Having said that, I would love to see everyone get their moment with the glitterball. ![]() You may be right about Abby and Caroline, I don't remember myself, but what I do remember is series 6 winner Tom Chambers only winning one show. Rachel Stevens completed dominated that tour. ![]() Its not about it getting boring (although I have to say it will be if it continues like this) and its not about being competitive. As I said, I could care less if Jay wins practically all of them and becomes the record breaker in terms of no of glitter balls he takes home ever! I'd only like him to maybe not win just a few shows out of all the dates so that those other deserving dancers have one single night/moment of celebration for them? This year is very different from previous years in terms of the massive support for one contestant (most of us knew Jay would win in week 4)...other years it was much closer. That is why I'm not as confident that others will get even one night for themselves as others did in previous years. If that was likely to happen it would be fine. I hope I'm speaking too soon (and of course its not the end of the world if they don't!). In fact if it becomes clear Jay is going to win all the time, there'll be no disappointment as the others won't think about it and just enjoy the show. But as I said, imo it would be nice if the likes of Helen and Georgia could get one tour date where they could celebrate. And I'm certain Jay would feel the same. Anyway, reports back from the show itself are really good - all of them dancing really well. Can't wait to go. |

^ It's not always even the case that a really popular winner does well on the tour though- Matt and Aliona swept their tour even though Kara has to be one of the most loved winners ever. Anita seems to be going down really well, so I imagine she'll win at least a few more. By the sounds of it, by the end everyone is lobbying the audience to vote for the couples who haven't won yet, so I imagine everyone will get their moment
I'd be surprised if Georgia didn't get Manchester!

I don't really buy this whole 'Jay has a massive fanbase' thing, most people I've seen raving about him on SCD either had no idea who he was before the show, or didn't especially care. I think its obvious that someone from a successful pop group will bring fans with them who will support them no matter what, but a lot of the people backing Jay are doing so because of his performance on SCD.
I'll stick my neck out as well and say I'm confident Georgia will win at least one of the Manchester shows, probably all of them! I think geography does make a big difference, I know someone who went to Sheffield last year and there was a lot of noticeable support in the audience for Kevin as it was the closest the tour got to Grimsby... lo and behold, Rachel & Kevin won that show! |

It wouldn't occur to me to vote for anyone other than my favourites ... I'm sure most people feel the same. Nobody wants a sympathy vote anyway. But yes, I'm sure that if any of them are dancing in or near to their home towns then they will have more than their fair share of fans there and have a high chance of winning those dates.

I personally think people just enjoy watching Jay (and Aliona) plus his jive is a show stopper, the dance that pretty much EVERYONE wants to see, they dance last........ I would love for every couple to win at least one show and I really hope they all do! |

I do think region plays a part, and could make a difference when voting is tighter, I just suspect that it may not be enough this particular year because Jay has so many fans. But of course I'd love you to be right - and I'm not being greedy (one night out of so many tour nights isn't a huge thing to ask and so may be achieved, we'll see )I do think everyone involved in the SCD live tour would prefer to have the others have at least one night too (and that would include Jay himself, as I'm sure he finds it a little bit awkward). But I guess its what the public want - and if the majority want him to win every tour date, and vote for that, thats how it will be. |

Don't think region makes much of a difference at all when there is an outright favourite (Jay). How many people would vote for someone from their hometown versus someone they actually liked? How many people on here supported a celebrity or professional dancer because they are from their hometown?
Precious few, I'd say.Can only see maybe one or two shows being won by someone other than Jay and Aliona. |

But how do you know all her snapchat followers let that be a million will be going to the tour?? Or do you want outside members to vote and let her win unfairly?? Does it really matter who has the most followers because I certainly am not a snapchat member certainly therefore do not follow Jay. I support him and aliona because I fell for their partnership and dancing and I think that applies to all fans. You don't need to be a follower of some form of social networking site to be a supporter of someone. If that makes any sense who knows.

It would be nice if BBC made a snap chat for SCD as it's a relatively popular way of communicating with people currently. That is if BBC entertainment agree with wanting to make one. It's just that we could see footage of things that way before FB, twitter and instagram.

Mine neither, in fact they're my least favourites - BUT at least it proves that Jay is not unbeatable as some seem to suggest!
Come on Helen! ![]() For the record I would have voted Helen |

If you're going, have a look at your Tour programme ![]() Strictly Tour has a separate Facebook. BBC just owns the Strictly name - so the BBC logo is often in a corner somewhere - but the Tour is completely separate otherwise. |
