Anita grew up in Bradford close to Leeds, so not surprised about her win. Manchester is coming up next which bodes well for Giorgia. I'd like to see everyone have their turn even Ainsley!

They did keep reminding us that Anita was from Bradford and that Georgia was from "Up North"

Jay seemed to get the biggest cheers and got the only perfect score so I was surprised Anita won.

Last night it was a close call between Anita and Jay winning the glitter ball, and Ithink it's likely to be the same at each venue as they are both very popular (or in Anita's case Gleb is!)

I was a big Georgia and Giovanni fan during the serious, voted for them, and wanted them to win but I felt disappointed by their performance last night - it somehow felt a bit flat! I don't know if it was the fact that they performance first but it was obvious they weren't going to win in Sheffied! I do hope they have better luck in Manchester but I wouldn't put money on it!

Many would agree with me though in saying K&K's 40's were very undeserved. Many could see that in her tango, her frame was shocking, amongst other faults. Kellie was the judges favourite and in my opinion that's what got her the 40's.

The judges were ***** not giving the full credit to Jay that he deserved. Trouble is it messes with our heads when the judges aren't as honest as they could be, we're not toys, so they should be more transparent with us.

Agree still makes me a bit mad till this day but at least the tour crowds are showing him a bit more gratitude for his and alionas talent..

Another win for Anita & Gleb tonight!

I really hope Helen wins a few shows. I voted for her five times tonight and she still didn't win. Will someone vote for her on my behalf please if anyone's going to any of the other shows

It feels like it's very much Anita v Jay. I think Georgia might win the Manchester legs but I don't think the others will have a look in considering the results so far.

No, they're voting for Anita. Well, Anita & Gleb if you want to be pedantic, but they're voting for Anita.

I don't know why some people are so insistent that it is only the Gleb half of the partnership that people are voting for.

Do these same people think that it is only Aliona that people are voting for?.... Or only Jay? I don't see anyone pointing out either of them as individuals. They're a partnership so both deserve the credit and the same goes for Anita & Gleb IMO.

Here's a thought. Maybe people are voting for the actual dances they enjoy which just so happens to be Gleb AND Anita's Paso & American Smooth.

You can't take it seriously--Anita was, and obviously still is, very popular. (I was just catching up on some old ITT videos and saw that Mel G was hoping for Anita to win--she must be happy Anita's doing so well now.) It's just a reaction from a few fans (or non-fans of Gleb).

I find the bare chest indignation funny because 1) competitive Latin dancing is full of mostly bare-chested male dancers and 2) we're all completely used to the female dancers being costumed to display as much skin as possible.

I'd like them all to win a show too, but I don't feel too bad for Helen—she knew already she wasn’t a fan favorite during the series and she will know that this is an entertainment package, not a real dance competition (in which she would, of course, probably even beat Jay). She’ll also know that of the tour celebrities, she’s the only one who currently has (and has the best chance of continuing to have) a successful stage and acting career.

I imagine she sees this as a lovely stage job to add to her CV.

I am a Jay fan but thought Anita should have made the SCD Final so delighted to see her getting recognition now as A & G were popular and entertaining.

I also hope Helen gets at least one win too as she is a lovely dancer.

Totally agree with you. Anita is very popular and a very good dancer.

Gleb's choreography is actually more suited to the Tour than Strictly, and from the clips I've seen Anita seems to be dancing better on the Tour. I've always liked the choreography of their American Smooth, and they have 2 top dances for the Tour.

Jay has the Top dance and a Rumba - which is considered a weak dance for a Tour.

Georgia has one top dance, as has Helen.

It's good for the Tour overall that the wins are shared, but I do expect Georgia and maybe Helen and Frankie could win too.

Because apparently it's Gleb that's getting the reaction during the tour ... when he's introduced etc and they're making much of his 'phwoar it's Gleb' attractions. People mentioned how popular he in particular was before the first results came in (just going on the reaction he was getting and the obvious support for him amongst audience members.) It was almost a 'God ... Gleb is REALLY popular' and they did say that Anita was almost being overlooked (by Mel etc.)
That's not to say that Anita isn't popular too but that much more is being made of Gleb and his attractions than is being made of any other pro.

You can't really compare him with Aliona or any other pro .... they're not flirting with the (mainly female) audience and asking whether they should take their top off or not etc etc.

Well yes that's all very good fun and everyone loves a bit of audience interaction on tour, and if I was there then I too would certainly enjoy it..... BUT that's not to say I would want to vote for him just because he took his top of and had a bit of audience banter! Does that really entice people to vote?

I nor anyone I know would be inclined to vote for those reasons alone so I would suspect that there are many who are voting for him and Anita who aren't doing it just because he's a looker.
