If it was Steph- OMG it's cos Sams going in
Jeremy - OMG why are they doing that do they want this 'triangle' to continue.
Daniella - OMG it's cos they are setting her up for the 'journey'
Tiff- It's cos they want an American in the final
Scotty- Because he's the 'Golden boy' and they want him to win.

And on and on. So FIX would have been shouted anyway

Darren would probably be least 'FIX' outrage

If something look's like a fix, i'll say it's a fix, no matter who is involved, just like i have always done. I'm confused why some are so quick to jump to Channel 5's defense.

I'm not sure actually. No one else winning immunity, even Stephanie, would've caused as much annoyance as this has.

Danniella winning immunity wouldn't have had much of a reaction at all.

It's blatantly a fix with Gemma. They're all up her arse on BOTS. She had, what, nine to one odds of winning it and the one housemate who people have said has been singled out for special treatment (gets away with not doing tasks, etc) is the one who happens to win the easiest task, when she refuses to participate in anything that involves intelligence or hard work?

Nah, if anyone else won id have took ot as legit, no matter who.
But it just so happened to be the obvious one that we knew would win right from the start! Hmm. Fishy.

I'm surprised some people are quick to be so cynical. They have done stupid things but no show can be fixed. Remember what happened to Ant and Dec?.will they risk all of the drama?

You think 5 have enough cash to be in the middle of a scam?

No I wouldn't have said any of those things.

Totally agree. I really fail to see why people are surprised others think it's fixed.

So Jeremy's box was broken and Steph was turning hers the wrong way, yet they still opened?! Yes, because BB was controlling them. I totally agree with the way it was done as someone on here has already said. There were 2 masks in each box. That to me tonight was definitely fixed for Gemma. No two ways about it

Me too. I mean it's not as if they're the BBC, and I've never seen a more obvious fix in my life.

You speak so much sense. Why can't other people get this?

That involved the public's money. No comparison whatsoever with this farcical situation. They like that she creates controversy and they're determined to keep her for as long as possible by whatever means.

Because it's the same thing happening every single time. They leave us in the dark about how these so called twists plan out and then the twist ALWAYS goes in favour of the one housemate that is considered to either be the most disliked or the one that, in their opinion, is bringing the most entertainment.

How can you expect people not to be cynical when it just happens to play out the same way every single time ? It's not even something that happens once or twice every other series. It's happening a few times in every single series.

I can't believe anymore that they are not setting things up to stop certain HM's from being evicted. Gemma probably wouldn't have been evicted in the next eviction anyway, but they can't risk losing her.

Channel 5 are desperate to keep the ratings up for this show, they have shown this time and time again since they got hold of this show. They will do anything to keep their ratings up. There is also proof that they keep things from us, remember the whole thing about Jay taking a dump in the freezer ? that was kept from us. When they are so dishonest every series, people will question the things they do.

Not once in all the years BB has been on our screens and all the dozens of conspiracy theories that have floated around have I give them any credence, however tonight I finally buy into the "it's a fix" brigade. Why? Because from the moment they all walked in the camera was on that big lazy lump, because all that turn the handle nonsense didn't hide the fact that it was BB controlling the music boxes not the contestants, because from the very start she had a stupid smirk on her face because she knew what the outcome was and doesn't have the talent to act well after all she isn't an actress is she just a loud mouthed lazy lump.

The boxes could have easily been on timers - it was obvious the handles were just there for show to make it more theatrical. Anyone could have stood behind that box and had the same outcome. I'm really not seeing this "obvious fix" that everyone is banging on about. The only reason everyone is up in arms is because they hate Gemma.

The arguments for the fix are much stronger than the ones against in my opinion. It's common sense to me that it was blatantly rigged to save Gemma.

That was to do with the actual votes. "Twists" in the game cannot get channel 5 into trouble.

It's simply not true that everyone would have moaned either way.

Gemma has been getting away with not doing tasks so many times now.
And the only person who hates tasks manages to get immunity.
Also her knowing the producer thats the most obvious fix they've done so far.

No it's not because people hate Gemma it's so obvious it's a fix!

Exactly, I wish some people wouldn't try and speak for everyone else.

It was strange wasn't it.

She refuses tasks all week long, then does one and wins it outright.

I couldn't care less if it's fixed or not. I can't spend energy worrying about things I can't control. It is interesting to read all the posts for and against the 'fixing' though.

When people say "everyone", they don't always mean "everyone". When people say after a bad event, "what is wrong with everyone in the world", you're not really wondering what is wrong with each individual person in the world. It's a generalization.

Let me rephrase, "86.67% would have moaned either way".

That's not right.

85.5% at the very least.

I don't remember what happened with Ant and Dec. But surely one thing that past cases show is is that shows sometimes at least try to rig things. Then ask yourself can we be sure that shows have always been caught when they've tried? I think the answer to that has to be "no". So how do you get to the conclusion that "no show can be fixed"?

Besides, we know that BB does sometimes 'fix' things. For instance, remember the 'half way house' in bb8. BB kept the swaps going until the 'right' HMs were safe. In bb13 Turf Wars, BB used a convenient punishment to give the green team control of nominations in week 6.
