On the contrary, it was a fantastic dream. Moffat has destroyed Who over the past 6 years, anyone is preferable to him.

Yes, that indeed is my opinion. And I have as much right to it as all the Moffat fanboys have to theirs.

Whatever Chibnall produces would have to be extremely poor to surpass Moffat, so sure, check back on my opinion in a few years time and admit that I was right. I look forward to you doing so.

No-one is disputing that. But if you want to come in here being strident and insulting then you'll get people responding to you in kind. Don't start trying to portray yourself as some sort of victim of pro-Moffat bullies trying to shout you down. That won't wash. If you have a good argument then express it. So far you've contributed nothing constructive or interesting to the topic.

Lets Kill Hitler, the finale of season 6, the entire arc.
Then season 7 littered with poor episodes, and an arc not many people liked, and him leaving his mark on doctor who history, in a bad way. Season 8, his episodes again weren't that good apart from one of them, and once again a poor finale. This season he wrote a very good episode, but once again messing with the show's laws and principles. Time for change, the declining views is also an indication. And his overall time as showrunner has made it a job no one wants to take. |

Sorry, but what have you or others contributed that is either constructive or interesting? And you have misunderstood me, I am in no way trying to construe myself as the victim of pro-Moffat bullies. I have more intelligence than that.
That's hardly setting yourself up as intelligent or consistent, is it? What have these so-called "fanboys" even got to do with it? |

Haha wait a minute. Are you seriously suggesting that it's somehow Moffats fault that no one wanted to replace him? Good grief some people really do view him as Satan round here.

Er, what? I dislike most Chibnall episodes but really like one, so I become a Chibnall cheerleader? Strange logic.

It was meant as a light hearted post, poking fun at your oft used degatory term of Mofatt fan boys

I appreciate what he has done, but he stayed too long, and yes, in his time as showrunner has lead to Doctor Who becoming not being the most appealing show for people to take over now.

I think they've rather created a rod for their own back, needing a 'name' to take over. In the old days, the producer was whoever was next in line at Television Centre. Now they need a show-runner to write and produce. That's the way the show works now - but there aren't a lot of these show-runners around. Or at least there aren't any with an established reputation. They wouldn't risk appointing an unknown.

I loved Dinosaurs on a spaceeship too, but how you love that over The Sillurian two parter baffles me. As long as he dosen't take it down the depressing route that Moffat has recently I'm all ears, by the way not a Moffat hater just hated his work Series 7+ but loved him prior to that. |

I LOVED that sillurian two parter and most of his work like 42. As for The Power of Three I think that was the RTD equivalent of letting the doctor breathe and have just a light hearted adventure before thrusting arc down peoples throats kinda like Boom Town, which I loved also.

But yeah, i never realised how much people hate the silurian episode, i always thought it was decent, not the best but it had merit. |

Well his Torchwood work was quite dark, so i wouldn't be surprised if it isn't that lighthearted. I still expect it to be dark to a degree.
