Its seems a bit harsh to blame the presenters. They only present, they don't write, design or produce the content. Its a bit like blaming Huw Edwards for the Paris atrocities isn't it?

We are allowed to voice the opinion that we believe it was fixed, last night was as subtle as a sledgehammer, Gemma looked smug from the start.

Yes - Davina would have managed to lie with a wink, wink or a wry smile - Emma just couldn't hide her discomfort.
In her defence "I am not a fan of hers" she did comment on the fact Gemma would not do the shopping task.

But it's a farcical played for laughs entertainment show! Why are they not able to laugh along with us? Why are they both so willing to be compromised and made to look like disingenuous fools? Clever presenting would allow for an acknowledgement of the farce that BB is and we could all laugh together, rather than having our intelligence insulted by their lily-livered 'neutrality' - and most particularly when it concerns someone they both favour.

We know BB's meddled with on an hourly basis. Emma and Rylan also know this. And they know we know they know this so why the ridiculous refusal to acknowledge this meddling, most particularly when it's as blatant as last night's fix.

Presenting that acknowledges the farcical nature of BB would make for a much more light-hearted show and go a long way towards reducing the amount of bad feeling it generates.

Emma and Rylan have no say in these things.. they are merely on the payroll reading the script.

OF COURSE it was fixed…. they had no intention of losing Gemma who is keeping it going single handedly, and by that I mean controversy, fights, tension. Just what they want !!! All this bull about … they chose to stand in front of whatever box they wanted….. well yes of course they did, but EACH box had both masks….., the levers were red herrings, had nothing to do with nothing…..the fact that Jeremy's broke off within ten seconds and his mask still popped up a few minutes later says it all there !! It was simply a matter of waiting till they were all in place and just making sure it was Gemma's box that produced the gold one. Its' not rocket science.

The bigger question is why is this causing a fuss. OF COURSE it was going to fixed…. there's no issue here… this is how these shows work…. in fact…. one could almost say it's producers doing their job right and making sure the right people are there as the weeks unfold to make good TV. If they wanted to do it fair…. well then… it should have been done like Deal or No Deal… have them all stand in front of a box and simply lift the lid…. one box would have said IMMUNITY inside the lid and Bob's your Uncle.. but let's face it.. that was NEVER going to happen !! They may not be able to do anything any more about the public vote… too many people watching… but they CAN do something about this, and more power to them LOL.

As far as I'm aware Huw Edwards doesn't tell us blatant fibs all the time. Saying Emma and Rylan are "only presenters" and are therefore "not to blame" is ludicrous. They are regularly presenting lies and biased content, knowing it to be lies and biased content.

Please stop posting these threads alleging fixes. Not only is it boring but you can also get yourself into a lot of legal trouble.
and they are going to sue the general public ALL of them for libel or defamation

I love Emma - I jump to defend every negative criticism of her on here. She does a good job. I must admit I was a bit cross with her over 'Winston gate' - but it was soon forgotten.

I can't contain my disappointment in her tonight - it was clear she didn't find it easy - she's not that good an actress - SHE LIED tonight when she said there was no fix.

I actually don't think she was in on it but .................like most of us she could see it was BLATANT. She wouldn't dare but she really should have raised her eyebrows.

I never buy into the 'fix' conspiracies - that little stunt last night though was just proof that the production take us for idiots.
I thought Emma had already crossed that line with most people back during BB13 when she told us that Deana had been told what Conor said. I was almost the only person who argued that it didn't have to be a lie (even though what she said wasn't true).

I know she's heavily pregnant but her fashion sense has gone right out the window this series. She looks like a hotel doorman with those silly coats

I would not trust Emma or Rylan as far as I could throw them, both of them are complicit in the lies, fixes, and fiddles that take part in BB, there silence has been bought and they just play the dumb stooge act when questioned.

I have to agree, I always defend Emma too but she looked very awkward last night and it was interesting how she questioned Rylan and Fern, Gemma's so called mate on the panel of what Gemma is really like. I don't think she is that impressed with Gemma herself but is just going along with the producers and her Towie friends. It really is quite sickening.

Whether it was a fix or not, the fact that within the same interview Emma could categorically state that it was NOT a fix, but then say she doesn't know who the mystery house guest is and the first she knew of it was when she read it from the auto-cue, because "we don't get told anything" shows how patronising to the viewer they are on this program.

Gemma got the votes to save so the immunity mask is of no use to her.

She has dominated BOTS show for the past two nights now, they can't stop talking about her as she's TV GOLD love her or hate her.

The way things are going with everyone talking about her 'good' or 'bad' its likely If she got nominated again, she'd just get saved again so immunity mask wasted, she doesn't need it !!

She's the presenter just doing her job she can't admit it being a fix whether she knew or not.Was probably also shocked too but she has to defend the show Big Brother as it's her job. Same with Rylan .

I still think Emma is a brilliant presenter . Davina is the best but Emma great after her much better then Brian Dowling.

Both Emma and Rylan can't hide their body language when the script makes them say things they know are false.
oh i don't know, i think Rylan would say the moon was made of cheese if it kept him on the telly. he know's he's a one trick pony with a very limited presenting life.
