How nice to be an "obviously" upstanding article. If ever you find yourself in the pitiable position of having your knickers displayed by those who hate you, you will obviously enjoy the merry laughter and banter of others.

Everyone in the house doesn't hate Stephanie. They didn't even know whose the knickers were until Steph came through and told them.

I have never in my life left a pair of visibly soiled knickers lying in a bath or a floor where someone else would see them.. Obviously Steph doesn't care who sees hers, otherwise she'd not have left them sitting around.

She'd left them with the rest of the laundry.

It wasn't really a secret in that house that those knickers were Stephanie's. Anybody who was bothered by their presence could have pulled her aside and told her to deal with them.

Instead they were displayed and described as covered in "pigeon shit", That was done deliberately to embarrass and humiliate Stephanie.

No-one knew whose knickers they were - not even Jeremy!

Darren's on the side of whoever's getting the votes, didn't you see him the other day actually starting a conversation with Tiffany after hearing her get those cheers. Suddently realised that she might just be a tad popular after surviving again and getting cheers. Then tonight whilst everyone else was enjoying themselves the only thing he could say to Steph was "you're getting the votes"

Just shows that he's thinking about it.

He is a pathetic individual imo.

That's not what happened. Gemma shouted shouting at Stephanie from across the kitchen. Stephanie retaliated.
Gemma keeps repeating that Steph started on her, but it was the other way around.
I've noticed that Gemma often keeps repeating something and it then somehow becomes believed to be the truth.

There has been a lot of talk about this incident centred around someone being "humiliated".

Firstly, John, Darren and Chris had no idea whose knickers they were when they discovered them. That came later.

I think it needs underlining that Stephanie is an entitled user. She's been throwing here stuff about for weeks for other people to pick up. Other people complain and they are "bullying her". She borrowed Megan's clothes, ruined them and just left them in a pile on the floor for hours and complained when someone challenged her. She's behaved in a disgusting way to her boyfriend and Jeremy and is blaming other people for it. She blames the others for noticing it and she blames the show for "bullying her" for noticing it. Megan is having a crisis BBC can't get in to the diary room because Steph in monopolising the room to bleet about how everyone it treating her badly.

Then this. She left a whole pile of clothes around the house for days. Which is usual for her, others have asked her not to and she's ignored them. She's depended on other people picking things up for her and washing them for her. She does nothing. Then she leaves a pair of knickers soiled with faecal and vaginal matter in a public space used by everyone for personal and public hygiene. She leaves them there for days. This is literally how infections happen that make people sick. Then other people pick up after her again and discover something they should never have been exposed to it's again other people's fault. And other people are "bullying" her again because NOBODY is every allowed to take her to task for her ongoing litany of disgusting behaviour. Because she wasn't humiliated, she was the one joking about her being "moist" in them.

Let's be clear here. Stephanie's gender is nothing to do with it, neither is the gender of the people who found the stuff. If a guy had left his pants stained with poo and semen in a public wash area it would have been just as unacceptable as it would have been just as offensive for women to find such a garment.

This is simply another example of bad, thoughtless, reckless and using behaviour by Stephanie. In a communal living space such a person who had repeatedly and continuous shown such thoughtless exploitation of her fellow residents thoroughly deserves being taken to task. Not to punish them but to show them that their behaviour has implications for others and they need a wake up call. And they need to keep getting them until they change.

Absolutely!

To make an issue out of it on national tv was bullying, end of.

Do they all put their clothes in the washing machine or do they have to do them by hand?

And were they with the other dirty laundry? It looked to me like they were sorting through it all (why?) before putting it in the machine, and the three guys acted like 10 year old schoolboys.

That's not what happened. Stef made a bitchy comment then Gemna started shouting. Just because she is older and bigger doesn't mean that she has to put up with Stefs constant snipes or be labelled a bully. Even Jez has told Stef to stop bitching at them.

All that might be right, but it doesn't excuse a group of much older people, of both sexes, making it an issue on national tv.

very well put... the girl is her own worst enemy, and filthy with it. How anyone can live like that is beyond me, she really is a lazy dirty female in a lot of ways.

I just posted in another thread. Its worth noting that Steph was sacked from Hollyoaks for being constantly distruptive and none of the current Hollyoaks cast have a decent word to say about her.

Steph is clearly a very difficult person to be around.

If they had been Gemma's dirty knickers, Steph would have had no problem in laughing about it to every camera on view. She has already called Gemma a fat smelly **** no less.

Double standards.... the girl is a player and people are now being sucked into her manipulative acts.

It happened on national tv. Steff left her knickers lying around on national tv. They are living on national tv. It's their home.

If you don't want to be exposed as a slob on national to then either don't go on it and be one or pretend for a few weeks that you are not.

The fact that that her housemates discus it wasn't what exposed her. It was her behaviour.

Yes, maybe the HMs could have bee a bit kinder and, let's face it, not exactly the nicest bunch, but it's ALWAYS someone else's fault with Steph. And she;s only 22!

Gemma is an unpleasant character but Steph's attacks on her have been extremely personal. I feel sorry for Steph in some ways but she is so selfish and inconsiderate, in all areas. She quite happily "pranks" others as well.

In the beginning when she was getting lots of attention and being treated as "house baby" she was tolerable. A very difficult person to live with, I would imagine.

She signed the contract. When they enter the house it is in the clear understanding that all their behaviour and interactions will be an issue on national TV. If someone does something bad in that house, that's their choice. Just like Freddie and his skid marks in the toilet and not cleaning them up. I'm sorry but that's the deal. If her soiled knickers are an issue on National TV then that is a result of her behaviour and nobody else's.

To blame the people who cleaned up after her and were exposed to unhygienic, dried bodily fluids against their will is not right or fair.

I lost almost complete respect for Steph based on how she dismissed Megan's upset over the track suit, and then blamed Jeremy because of her own sense of entitlement. But, when a bunch of people gang up and take someone to task, especially on BB, it doesn't come across well, no matter how vile the person they gang up on.

I have little sympathy for Stephanie, but none of them came out of it well. She needs someone to show her how to behave, clearly she is a product of her upbringing.

Age has nothing to do with it. Stephanie is not special needs there is no need whatsoever for a grown woman to have dirty underwear lying around a house. She is a dirty vile nasty piece of work whose only interest in the house is to have a showmance.
