I think anyone complaining about one housemate being taken to task ver disgusting and unforgivable behaviour in the house has missed the point of the TV how they are watching. See freezergate. Covering such things up is worse.

I think it needs underlining that Stephanie is an entitled user. She's been throwing here stuff about for weeks for other people to pick up. Other people complain and they are "bullying her". She borrowed Megan's clothes, ruined them and just left them in a pile on the floor for hours and complained when someone challenged her. She's behaved in a disgusting way to her boyfriend and Jeremy and is blaming other people for it. She blames the others for noticing it and she blames the show for "bullying her" for noticing it. Megan is having a crisis BBC can't get in to the diary room because Steph in monopolising the room to bleet about how everyone it treating her badly.

Then this. She left a whole pile of clothes around the house for days. Which is usual for her, others have asked her not to and she's ignored them. She's depended on other people picking things up for her and washing them for her. She does nothing. Then she leaves a pair of knickers soiled with faecal and vaginal matter in a public space used by everyone for personal and public hygiene. She leaves them there for days. This is literally how infections happen that make people sick. Then other people pick up after her again and discover something they should never have been exposed to it's again other people's fault. And other people are "bullying" her again because NOBODY is every allowed to take her to task for her ongoing litany of disgusting behaviour. Because she wasn't humiliated, she was the one joking about her being "moist" in them.

Let's be clear here. Stephanie's gender is nothing to do with it, neither is the gender of the people who found the stuff. If a guy had left his pants stained with poo and semen in a public wash area it would have been just as unacceptable as it would have been just as offensive for women to find such a garment.

This is simply another example of bad, thoughtless, reckless and using behaviour by Stephanie. In a communal living space such a person who had repeatedly and continuous shown such thoughtless exploitation of her fellow residents thoroughly deserves being taken to task. Not to punish them but to show them that their behaviour has implications for others and they need a wake up call. And they need to keep getting them until they change.”

I couldn't have put it better myself. She is spoiled and expects people to run around after her. She allegedly lives with her 'boyfriend' Sam. I feel sorry for him in every way. She is obviously used to getting what she wants, who she wants when she wants. Time to grow up lady, you are 22 not 16. Something tells me that you are going to revel in all the publicity which will ensue when you come out of there.

Are you really comparing what Jay did to what Steph did - if she did leave said knickers lying around as some people are saying they came from a pile of dirty washing possibly in a basket?

If so I'm shocked. One is a thoughtless act of laziness which - if true - I do not approve of. The other a filthy, disgusting act of depravity done INTENTIONALLY.
If really being compared as equal acts then I hate to say it then - as others have said - misogyny is alive and kicking in today's society.

I also have an issue with her dirty knickers being compared to skid marks???? unless the person involved had an accident and semen - unless pertaining to a wet dream.

Except she hadn't left them laying around the house, they had come out of the wash basket and were in a pile of washing somebody had put on the table to sort through to go into the washing machine.

Good post. I'm sick of her claiming everyone is 'bullying' her. She obviously knows from past shows that viewers hate bullies so is trying to play the victim.

The fact that that her housemates discus it wasn't what exposed her. It was her behaviour.”

them.

.”

.Much as Steph was disgusting to leave them around and to blame for it , the humiliation the others caused was truly awful .John with his sly "name and shame " shocked me . Darren and Chris running around like ten year old boys was dreadful to watch .The three women really horrified me , they should have stopped that in its tracks and removed the knickers and put them out of public view and told the men to stop it .But Oh NO they continued to make it even worse and snigger and cackle .
Tiiffany , regardless of her motive at very least knew how humiliating it was and I will give Jeremy his due he dealt well with it and was able to handle the issue and remove the knickers from further display .
The three men were only short of putting them on a broom handle and carrying them around chanting a song .

Im sorry but she had been askedmmultiple times not to do this because it is distressing other housemates but she has CHOSEN to continue to do it. That is intentional.

Exactly. Dirty knickers go in the wash basket, the boys took on the washing task. The boys were a bit freaked and as two of them were gay, perhaps they hadn't witnesses discharge before hence their drama.

Gemma, Daniella and Megan should all know better and acted appallingly.gemma and Daniella coz they hate Steph and Megan coz she wants to be in the 'Essex girl' gang.

They've got a washing machine?? How did I miss that? I did think there wasn't as many scenes of doing laundry in the bath as usual. Even less of an excuse to leave dirty washing lying round for days then.

That's what I thought People seem to forget that the washing is washed by hand in the bath! The laundry is therefore in the bathroom.

OMG. I didn't know that! Eeewwww.

Even so, the pants were still in the wash basket. I can understand them not wanting to wash the knickers but they could have quietly put them back in the basket and left them, not drawn attention to the discharge. I would have found that hideously embarrassing if it had happened to me.

Didn't Stephanie do that herself by leaving her dirty underwear wherever she takes it off?
Having to avoid Stephanie's dirty knickers in the house has been an on going complaint by all except Jeremy.

Why were a bunch of blokes rummaging through used knickers in the first place and why did they place them on the dinner table

Exactly. This is what any regular person would do, but in there they seem (perhaps through boredom, perhaps through nastiness, perhaps a bit of both!) to look for anything that will help them in creating a drama and tension, then they moan about the tension in the house!
