I wouldn't personally choose to do it either, but it looks like they've some sort of routine going on for doing the washing. And whoever is doing it will obviously have to handle them.

I just bought something like that. It is built around hoops with cloth between so its flat when stored. Then when you wantto use it you hang it up and it exands itself. Haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

BIB The trouble with that is if they all tell her it is classed by some as ganging up and bullying.

Other people were also leaving their clothes in that pile to be washed not just Steph that is why they were going around trying to find out who owned the red knickers, 'name and shame'

If she is a 'lazy dirty bitch' are they calling that down on themselves?

Their behaviour was disgusting, totally unacceptable, I have no idea why anyone would defend it.

My then teenage daughter used to leave, plates cups, her used clothes lying around the bedroom. You know what teenagers are like.

Can you imagine that if you had friends round you would suddenly produce your daughters used knickers to shame her into sorting her stuff out in future.

Would anyone do that? Whats the difference to this situation?

People are defending this totally unacceptable behaviour because they don't like Steph for whatever reason.

Well it shouldn't be, if it were done in a non-shouty, sit down and everybody have their say (including Stephanie). Especially if it were about all their issues, not just the one problem, a general airing of gripes meeting.

It's all in how it's done. Some people are always going to shout bully - it's more regularly used than a full-stop around here

And other people are "bullying" her again because NOBODY is every allowed to take her to task for her ongoing litany of disgusting behaviour. Because she wasn't humiliated, she was the one joking about her being "moist" in them.

Let's be clear here. Stephanie's gender is nothing to do with it, neither is the gender of the people who found the stuff. If a guy had left his pants stained with poo and semen in a public wash area it would have been just as unacceptable as it would have been just as offensive for women to find such a garment.

This is simply another example of bad, thoughtless, reckless and using behaviour by Stephanie. In a communal living space such a person who had repeatedly and continuous shown such thoughtless exploitation of her fellow residents thoroughly deserves being taken to task. Not to punish them but to show them that their behaviour has implications for others and they need a wake up call. And they need to keep getting them until they change.”

Oh come on. It's really basic childish bullying. If you come across a pair of knickers in a washing basket, you don't pull them out and put them on public display so everyone can laugh or comment about the stains. Only a s@@t of a person would do that.

Totally agree. Steph has irritated the hell out of me with all the Jeremy stuff, her spoilt princess behaviour and inability to accept fault.

But it was shameful of the others to hold up a pair of soiled knickers (nothing abnormal about a little discharge in womens underwear, but I guess John and Chris might not be too familiar with womens' panties!) squealing like 12 year old boys, making sure everyone knew about them, and then Gemma and Daniella getting in on the act and taking the opportunity to humiliate Steph to the max.

No matter how messy and annoying Steph might be, that was crossing way over the line. It was cruel and unnecessary, and I can hardly believe that so-called mature adults would behave in that way.

Steph's being exposed as quite the liar!

Scotty called her out about lying. Tiff knows that she's a liar because she denied to John that she told Steph it was him regarding knickergate. Then she blatantly lies that the knickers didn't belong to her.

I bet she only revealed because she knew it would be shown on tv anyway.

She has to be the laziest person in there. I'm sorry but this ought to be a lesson to those parents that think they are doing the best for their children by doing everything for them. You're doing them NO favours as evidenced by how Steph has turned out.

Ask yourself this .. if you were in a house full of strangers would you put your dirty knickers in a communal pile of washing or would you wash them out yourself on a daily basis (especially if you were having problems "down there" as Steph put it) I would do the latter. I wouldn't want anyone to wash my dirty underwear. Steph is like a 13 year old petulant teenager. I really do think the word "celebrity" should be re-defined. They put women like her in a reality show, they're photographed in expensive gowns and shoes with professionals doing their hair and make up - on the surface they look like movie stars of a bygone era but in reality they're the lowest form of chav. I've also noticed how most of the foul language is from the girls, including Daniella Westbrook with her "Classy and Sassy" T shirt on... sassy may be true but classy - never!

She is not 'disgusting' she's a normal girl sho happens to be messy. Her knickers were in a dirty washing pile in the bathroom to wash which is where the washing in the house is done.

Don't know why some people are acting so horrified as if the knickers were carrying the ebola virus. But then i'm a nurse. I know how the general public live and i tell you, ALL you females DO get discharge in your knickers and oh yes most of you do leave your knickers and other odds and sods lying around. So quick pretending to be 'miss better then the rest fresh as a daisy ' because i call bullshat!

On the whole I agree with you, but perhaps if you were appearing on TV one might possible be a little more careful about leaving items lying around to be found. Not that what they did was right, but don't give them an excuse to behave that way in the first place.

I am utterly disgusted that any of this film was aired for our entertainment. Some things should be left on the cutting room floor including these knickers. Shame on Channel 5.

I'm really pissed off with this series as there are no likeable characters what so ever can't wait for it to finish. I've watched every series since the beginning so will see it through.
