Regardless of whose knickers they were or where they were John comes out of this like a complete idiot. The other boys there were not much better but his childish shouting about it and his name and shame comment was an indication of what a rather nasty individual he is. I hate to say I agree with Megan about anything but she has him sussed as does Tiffany. The other two harpies, Gemma and Danniella then jumped in with glee.
It was quite unsettling watching three grown women relishing and revelling in the opportunity to humiliate someone like that. Not nice at all.
Absolutely to both posts, as a male I find their behaviour disgusting and deeply insensitive however lazy and slobby she might have been John's 'name and shame' was horrendous, followed along by his male s, who didn't give Steph and Jeremy the proper story later at the smoking area, just as he (John) is now Gemma's .

Disgusting. Some things are beyond the pale imo and shouldn't be broadcast, and this was a tremendous example (only except for the fact that it shows John, the three witches, and the pathetic Darren and Christopher up for what they are - and I liked Darren before however broken he may be, but there comes a time to put your foot down and stop playing along with the 'cool cat').

Horrendous stuff to vilify a woman's bodily functions like that

I don't understand them either. They'd be the first to kick off if they booked into a boarding house and found used sanitary towels in the sink, used condoms beside the bed, or discharge on their sheets.
First of all there was no used condom or used sanitary towel in this instance so your argument doesnt hold . Lets say my daughters knickers were left on the floor would I pick them up and wave them about to visitors or neighbours or anyone passing by and mention pidgeon shit on them etc .NO of course not , no way would I humiliate a young woman in front of people like that .I would have words , I would be cross but I sure would not stoop to gloat and snigger . How damn low where the other women not to take them and remove them and stop the circus

Exactly. Its a shame the women didn't take issue with the boys (men) for being so ashamedly childish about it. And end the circus as you put it. Instead the women further used it as something to humiliate another woman.

Gotta say I didn't really get anything Megan was yelling about but that makes sense as Megan always seemed willing to drop someone else in it.
Lol we back to the whataboutery again.. If you get the chance have a look back at the original flip out.. Steph leaving her stuff at her arse has been going on since then..

Well there were a pair of white knickers on the table which didn't belong to Steph. Who did they belong to?

Its all bollox. Gemma is the laziest in the house. We all know that. So don't hang that on Steph as well. Steph is messy and they have humiliated her for it not because she deserved it but because they could.
and Steph's not???

You can't discount someone's argument because it's not the same as what's going on then give another example of something else which has no relevance either.. no one is family in that house. It is a competition and this particular issue has been going on a while..

Perhaps Steph will start picking up her shit now, and avoid these embarrassing incidents in the future.

That said, I don't agree with the way it played out.. but no one really came out a winner in that situation... Steph could have if she hadn't told Jeremy it was because she was horny and moist... classy..

Perfectly put, how anyone can defend it is beyond me - you just have to hope they don't have daughters themselves!

She wasn't 'suffering discharge'. Every woman, every day, has some discharge. It's a by-product of a normal, healthy vagina.

The idea that it's something shameful and disgusting, making John throw up his hands in horror, denouncing it as pigeon sh!t, is exactly the attitude that was being condemned in the Metro article linked on the previous page..

By all means castigate Steph for being slovenly and lazy, but not for having a vagina that functions normally.
Exactly people are going around body shaming a young female for a normal bodily function. Darren Day has seen plenty of crusty knickers in his day , going by antics in his past, so who does he think he is fooling. John has a real bitchy, judgemental side that puts me of him and I dont like the women are disgusting theme he put out there. Men secrete too John.
You would think they were all vestal virgins honestly. i cant believe that Gemma has not grimed up a few knickers in her day, some of the lads she has knocked around with in dodgy places. the hypocrisy from them all is palpable.

.The same on here, all this palaver over a mucky knickers, really!. Is drama that scarce in our lives. As the mum of two teenage girls I have seen my share of them. I keep them off the table though. I have never got any disease off them and I firmly believe its built up my immune disease.
Knickers shnickers sheesh. meanwhile Isis is destroying the middle east.

We are not talking about daughters or other family members. We are talking about a group of strangers who are sharing a bathroom in a work capacity. As such, the bathroom is no place for dirty knickers to be left.

How anyone can defend Steph leaving her knickers around like that is beyond me.

As for the reaction of the housemates.. To be frank, it's pretty mild compared with what some co-workers might have done.

Alright, alright give us a minute - I can't be everywhere at once. I'm still trying to sort this knickers business out at the moment.

It's the reaction of the others that I have a problem with. No she shouldn't have left them there but she was trying to say she was going to do some washing that day. Also they weren't all her clothes there so other people had left stuff in the bathroom too, Darren for one as he took a pair of his boxer shorts off the table.

I really cannot believe that nearly 48hrs on we are still talking about Steph's knickers. Yes the blokes were a bit stupid to do what they did and yes the girls made it ten times worse.

The moral of the story is this: If you don't want your filthy knickers to be found either bin them or wash them yourself instead of leaving them where someone else can find them.

We're not talking about you or your teenage daughters. Stephanie is in her 20s and old enough to have several children of her own. And the HMs are co-workers, not Steph's mums.

Sheesh!

Sheesh!
So as long as the person getting humiliated is not a family member, it's ok and people shouldn't have an opinion on it. Kind of defeats the object of a public forum doesn't it as I can't imagine many are related to anyone they talk about on here

Yes i do actually. I dont like Steph , I think she is a rude , lazy , argumentitive woman . And still no adult should have humiliated her like they did
No she is not my daughter , she is a human being .Six adults crossed a line and shame on them
