Emmerdale appoints new producer
Emmerdale bosses have today confirmed that Digital Spy Forums member Isaac Harman has been appointed as the soap’s new series producer.
Outgoing producer Kate Oates is said to have worked closely with Harman over the course of the past few months. Isaac’s own material as producer of the soap shall begin to filter through as of Monday 26th January 2016.
Speaking of his new position, Harman commented: “I am delighted to have been trusted at the helm of one of Britain’s most loved shows. I am hopeful that I will be able to capitalise on the recent acclaim that the show has received and continue to ensure that Emmerdale goes from strength to strength.”
Discussing Emmerdale’s future, he added: “My ultimate goal is to be able to guide our characters on a wonderful journey over the next few years. We’ve got some beautiful, some happy and some tragic stories planned and each and every story that we tell comes straight from the heart of our fabulous cast.”
