I was yelling at the telly but I am a little bit ocd when it comes to hygiene

They'd already been on the table - removing them isn't going to magically clean the germs off.

John didn't "insist" on anything any more than anyone else did. They were all joining in, not surprisingly, because whoever left that disgusting pair of knickers lying around needs to show a bit more respect for other people.

Exactly.

You can't compare scrubbing your own families undies with washing Steph's gungy drawers out by hand.

It's a completely different kettle of fish.

When my daughter was an infant and threw up it didn't bother me clearing that up. When my friends small child threw up over me I almost joined in.

It's different when it's your own.

John was not blatantly lying about anything. He told the truth.

Just watching it again - when the women came out from the bedroom Darren was standing at the table with knickers uncovered inviting them over to have a look like he was working at a carnival.

But no, lets all blame evil manipulator John for it all...

Lets not blame Darren and Chris who put it on the table.

Least of all.... lets not blame Gemma and/or Danielle, who behaved FAR worse than John did tonight.

Let's just blame master manipulator John. It's all his fault.

I understand the whole 'name and shame' thing wasn't the best thing, or the most tactful, but I don't think there was any malicious intent.

Tiff annoyed me tonight. Regardless of what she said about John was true or not (and I'll be the first to admit he can be a bit of a control freak and arrogant at times).... what about Gemma's behaviour...? Why doesn't Tiff pull her up over her shit...?

but no, it's all John's fault.”

Really? I think you should think again! It wasn't all John's fault, I'm not sure why the other two were moving the clothes around in the first place, but John really grasped that opportunity, with both hands, to cause a load of grief for Steph. Gemma and Daniella just acted their usual witchy, bitchy selves.

Who took it into the bedroom to make a big deal out of it?

They shouldn't have touched them then should they?

Steph never asked them to, they did it themselves. Such juvenile behaviour is extraordinary I am amazed that any adult would defend it.

Whats the difference between visibly soiled underwear and soiled underwear that is not particularly visible? The hygiene issues are the same.

Rinsing underwear does not get rid of the hygiene issue, just makes it look different.

If human secretions cause you a problem don't touch someones underwear until it has been through a thorough very hot cleaning cycle.

It's about having a bit of privacy, dignity and respect for others.”

Did you sift through to check?

The point is, why did she put her dirty stuff in with the others ? If that was me I'd wash my own dirty laundry .

If she just put her knick's in her drawer so she could was them herself none of this would have happened. Blame every man and his dog for showing her up, but if she had cleaned up nobody would have anything to say.
She Steph left them laying around she's to blame.

The point is that everyone made a fuss about it - not just one person - and they were quite within their rights to do so.

Stephanie turned it into a bullying issue to shift the focus away from her revolting personal hygiene issue. Very manipulative.

Then Tiffany manipulated Stephanie into saying that John was responsible, and went straight to John to tell him that. Also very manipulative and divisive.

I cannot understand these people who are buying into Tiffany's account of things. She who accused Angie of deliberately misleading her into thinking that David Gest had died.. She hasn't a clue what's going on most of the time.

Exactly, just like everyone else is to blame for her ruining her relationship with her boyfriend

(and I say that as someone who is warming to Steph)

Did you read what I said?

Every time you wear clothing then it will have your bodily secretions on it after a while.

So every person, apart from children, should always do their own washing and never let any other human touch it should they?

Everyone else would have to step over them or kick them out of the way when they were using the bathroom. I think one of the guys was probably cleaning the bathroom, picked up the clothes which were lying on the floor and brought them through for the owner to claim them. They then noticed the panties were soiled and were grossed out, understandably, and started to have a carry-on about it.

I don't blame everyone for making a fuss about it. At least they did it in a light-hearted way.

People have been moaning the whole time about her leaving her clothes all over the floor. If you're sharing a house you don't leave your dirty knickers where other people can see them. I share a house with my partner, and I wouldn't dream of leaving soiled knickers for him to see. Ugh!”

The men did, the women sat on the bed however did not, they came out with some vile comments there, I was disgusted at them.

I wasn't keen on John's behaviour there, but then I thought the same as you, and I don't think any of the boys were trying to be malicious, however, the 3 harpies on the bed with their vile comments were disgusting !

All 3 "men" are responsible and the two women who took their side and humiliated that child need an effing slap.

Ok you don't call that bullying, what about when Steph was stood by the chair in the bedroom and Gemma barged her out of her way and called her a prick ? Would you call that bullying ?

I wonder how the other women would have felt if it had have been their dirty knickers on parade.

Against most of this forums opinions I think I may well have reacted like the men did. Darren uttered ugh or something and Christopher ran away. I think he actually made the same comment. I think too I would have been tempted to name and shame. Does that make me a bad person or a villain - you decide.

I do know if it had been my own child I would have gone ballistic about her leaving discharge stained knickers on the floor in the first place. In a plastic bag (if no washing machine) and certainly not on my floors.

When I was young if I left my clothes (not knickers) lying around the place my mother used to sling them out of the window into the rain sometimes to teach me a lesson so guess i was brought up with standards which have stayed with me. My own mother "shamed" me in a different sort of way. Was she a bully? Again, you decide

What do you think would happen to your floors? It may be a bit gross/slovenly but I can assure you, you won't get the lurgies. lol

And yes your mother did sound a bit of a bully to tell you the truth. She certainly overreacted.
