yes my daughter played it back and Gemma blocked Stef's way so Stef had to brush up against the wall and then Gemma called her a prick - if that isn't bullying I dont know what is

There have been several times this season I've wished they would read out transcripts of incidents to the whole House (as they've done in the past) or even show footage but I do believe they are protecting certain people - chiefly Gemma who is a bully no matter what her fans say. The fact that I don't happen to think much of her current victim (Shephanie) doesn't disguise what she is doing.

All those cameras and we go the camera that was so far back it may as well been in another room. That says its all about editing.

There was a similar thing in Oz BB many years back which it was edited to make it look like 2 housemates had been kissing or something like that and the evicted housemate made a scene about it with the host.

I couldn't see a damn thing. Funny that, considering it's a house full of cameras!

I was surprised at the use of "prick" as an insult though. What's wrong with b*tch, sl*g or a good old fashioned c*nt?

They were both as bad as each other in that encounter.
People,on here are taking sides based on who the dislike the most, but really they were like angry 7yr olds who've had a ruck in the playground.
I can't stand either of them. Gemma is an arrogant bully and Steph is a spoiled selfish brat and a professional victim.

If I had time if explain to you why that is a pathetic example of bullying.
Gemma has been a bully to several people, but that was a very minor incident.

How was Steph as bad as Gemma in that, Steph was trying to squeeze by and Gemma just stood there then called her a prick.

I agree, but Gemma is being protected in there without a doubt.

Oh ok, if you've opted to see it like that the. You won't know how it really was.
But never mind

No she isn't she is behaving like a monster and they are showing her as one

She is loathed and people are baying for blood.

It's truly ridiculous to claim she is being protected

Surely if they wanted to cover it up, they just don't show it. I think the edit was done to be ambiguous for the viewer, for storytelling reasons,

It's entirely possible she didn't say it at that moment, given the way it was edited. Or maybe she said something worse, which is why they used that angle, to dub something else in.

They went one step further than covering it up, they turned it round and used the doubt to look like the bully was the victim of a suspected elbowing!

It didn't look like she was a victim to me. And neither did it to you, given what you've just written. The whole edit, including the before and after, was fairly presented to remain ambiguous. The interpretation depended entirely on the filter the audience member was viewing it through, as we have both just demonstrated. Emotional manipulation of the audience. Story telling.

I'd also hazard a guess that it was partly edited from that camera to cut part of the audio or hide some gesture, maybe even an elbow as the editorial is that Gemma is the baddie. Or it was the only camera pointing in that direction.

They all add up. Bullying isn't one incident, it's systematic behaviour over time.

Gemma would then have the constant AT she craves

That is exactly the point I'm making! I'm not sure where you think I disagree?

The pointless camera angle was pretty obviously used as any closer angle would have removed any credibility to Gemma's BS about being elbowed.
