I was liking Daniella all the time she was 'acting'.

I even blamed the fact that she'd 'got in with Gemma' and it was her that was making her so nasty.

Daniella has had a hard life, she is a mother, why on earth would she take such abject pleasure in humilating someone young enough to be her daughter on national television.

I wonder what Daniella was up to when she was 22? I think leaving dirty draws around pales into insignificance really.

I'm sick of seeing her spiteful face all curled up in disgust - as a mother, perhaps she should have a bit of an idea how to approach something like this. Instead of taking every opportunity to snarl and bad mouth Steph behind her back. Could she not have had a quiet word with her - or even a 'loud' word.

I'm finding Daniella particularly unlikeable after that little episode - and to top it all she sobs her heart out for being called a bully.

Agree 100%. I think I am quite a nice person but I was a disaster zone at 22. I made plenty of mistakes and had to learn a lot of very painful lessons while I grew into the person I am now. Thank god all of that was done privately not in a house full of cameras. People in glass houses should not throw stones and Daniella's house has more glass in it than Kew Gardens!!!

Agree. In her 20's, she was a car crash. She was coked out of her nut 24/7, she was in a hugely destructive relationship with a fellow druggy (Brian Harvey) who she cheated on with a footballer that ended up with a punch up in a cheap hotel. She got knocked up by a drug dealer but had no idea who the father was, she married a coke she met in a petrol station etc etc etc. Hardly someone to judge others for making mistakes when you.

Btw, I'm not having a dig at her as I did some very sill things in my younger days but people who live in glass houses and all that

What Danniella was at 22 is irrelevant. She was an addict who tried many times to get herself off drugs. Addiction is an illness so she wasn't of a stable mind. Yet despite all this everyone who worked with Danniella has nothing but praise for her.

What is Steph's excuse? she isn't addicted to drugs, she is just a selfish brat. She was sacked from Hollyoaks for being a diva and none of the cast have a decent word to say about her. I see a pattern..

I wasn't an addict either but I made some awful mistakes at that age and was frankly an embarrassment. I'm 47 now with a happy marriage, a good career and am a good mum with lovely children. Do you have to be an addict to be allowed to make mistakes when you are young??

Nope but you can't compare Danniella being a drug addict at 22 to Steph being selfish and lazy at 22.

The two situations are not even remotely similar. One ( Danniella) was suffering a form of addictive illness, the other (Steph) is just lazy.

Stephanie didn't think to have a quiet word with Daniella about her smelly abscess in the first week instead of going into the bedroom and telling everyone that her breath was terrible and making fun of her hygiene. Daniella walked into that corridor outside the bedroom and heard her and walked out - I don't blame her for being upset. Stephanie really shouldn't be questioning other people's hygiene and then go and leave her dirty knickers lying around all week.

But at 22 Danniella was a drug addict suffering a serious addiction problem while Stephat 22 is just lazy, That's the issue Hms are having with her. Danniella's past has nothing to do with anything currently happening in the house.

It isn't really comparing. It is saying have some compassion and make allowances knowing how much people can change between 20 and 40. I don't know the ages of the rest of people saying what I am but I would hazard a guess they are the same sort of age group as me. 22 seems so young to me.
I agree she has a lot of growing up to do but would hate to think her future and career might be ruined because of one TV show. My son is a similar age and drives me insane with his selfishness and messiness (I think he has not always been the best boyfriend either) but it would break my heart to see him being hated on the way Steph is.

I agree. I'm 45 and know that I'm nothing like the same person I was 25 years ago. I had no addictions but drank too much and did things that make my hair curl if I think about it now. I'm very thankful there wasnt social media and smartphones when I was young

I have a little sister who is Stephs age and, although she's sensible and quite mature for her age, she still does things that make me shake my head and worry about her. It's the very nature of youth and being judges by those who have forgotten they were young once isn't going to help

Well, at least now, twenty years on, Danniella isn't taking drugs, lying in interviews about being clean to get money to buy more cocaine and getting involved with a whole bunch of unsavoury boys.

Wasn't Steph sacked for drinking on the job? Maybe she has an alcohol problem in which case presumably she can be forgiven for all her mistakes.

Anyway Daniella is an adult now with her own kids who has been through the mill herself so you would certainly expect her to be able to deal with a young adult better than joining in with humiliating her.


Is this confirmed as actually having happened? We didn't get to see any of it and have not heard a detail of it until now when Daniella is branded a bully by Steph.

First I heard Danniella had an abscess was last night! I haven't missed any of it and can't remember ever hearing anything about an abscess!

If she has a mouth abscess, surely she'd have to have seen a dentist or doctor and be on antibiotics. I know we only see very edited highlights but someone would have mentioned it by now, surely?

She's someone living in a house where someone scatters their used underwear around and puts shoes under her pillow. Nope. No reason to complain whatsoever. That's orderly normal after all Steffs only 22 and apparently a lot of peple behave like that then.

It's the Big Brother house - what did she expect? In the past we've had sh*t on the toilet seat and on the floor - even in the freezer. We've had people scraping their scabs into peoples food = people masturbating with a bottle, being sick in the kitchen sink.........I'm sure there's much more.

It's not a hotel - it's the BB house - ridiculing and humiilating someone for leaving dirty washing lying about is childish and cruel. I agree someone really should have had strong words with her about her slovenly behaviour - however being the BB house it's far more fun to sneer and complain behind people's backs.

I somehow think Daniella has lived through a lot worse than dirty knickers on the floor and shoes in her bed TBH - the thing is she probably has no recollection.

Really? Personally I could find it easier to live with an untidy 22 year old than somebody the same age with serious substance abuse issues.
