Scotty T, Megan and Tiffany were also pretty mature about it. Scotty T stayed out of it, Megan said it was unfair to have them on display like that and Tiffany defended Steph.
I don't know about Scotty T you know? He twice interjected to point out they'd been in the bathroom for a week, both times with a big grin on his face. He also told Daniella to "go tell Gemma she used the word bully again."

As for Megan, I think I took what she said differently to you... "Whosever those are, that's not fair to leave them on the table like that." I took to be her criticising the owner for leaving soiled underwear on the table (at this stage she seemed to think the owner had done it). You could well be right in your interpretation though... She kept shrieking as much as they boys did mind you.

Megan wasn't sensible she was enjoying and partaking in the bitchfest along with Gemma and Daniella and when confronted Daniella gets over dramatic wanting to leave the house denying any involvement in the matter.

He wasn't involved in putting them on the table, and he wasn't running around screaming there was pigeon shit on them- just saying they'd been lying around for a week, which isn't right, but it's a valid point. He mostly stayed out of it.

I don't think particularly well of Megan, but the way she said 'fair' made me think she meant the others putting them out for display... you could be right though. She might say she's friends with Steph, but I actually don't think she really likes her.

When I was watching the show I honestly thought Steph should keep her knickers in her own space and not leave them lying around the house , if she had this would never have happened..it wasn't until I re watched that I realised how wrong I got it ...I think my dislike of Steph clouded my judgement. as a female I would have been mortified if that had been done to me...but having it happen on national TV .
Why the three men felt the need to go through the laundry and pass comment on the female underwear I have no clue.John told Tiff that he didn't place the soiled pants on the table..he may not have physically placed them on the table but he played a major part in humiliating Steph . It was John who took the information to the other girls about the pants and that they were soiled , it was John who on his exit from the bedroom that said " if they’re yours I suggest you claim them". When the others went to the lounge area to view the pants on public display ...John is seen sitting in the kitchen area and he directs the others by calling out "There’s a red pair of panties that might be of interest" Earlier John called for the owner of the pants to be named and shamed ...well John got his way as Stephanie was named and shamed .

Me too. Really didn't expect such immature behaviour from him. I've defended him a lot but last night was disappointing.

Well well, seeing it written out like that it's clear that apart from Tiffany the person who had least to do with it ... was Gemma

Exactly, but majority still seeing her as the bully & dragging her into it, ignoring the fact it was Steph that insulted her with the "smelly..."

I think it's because she was sat with Danniella when Danniella made those vile comments and was laughing along. She really didn't do much though, for once.

Article in the metro was good, named and shamed the producers instead.

Most interesting yet probably overlooked thing in all of that is how Scotty mentions them having been near the bath for ages and not just recently put there.

If Steph was having issues why did she leave her dirty knickers on the side of a bath the housemates are using? Above all else that very unhygenic.

I've read it and I kind of agree, but some of it's a bit weird. Like... I'm not ashamed of my period, but I wouldn't go around flaunting my dirty knickers either? And I'd be pretty grossed out by dirty underwear from either gender. I wish Metro could've just stuck to 'Producers humiliating young woman is unacceptable' instead of getting on their soapbox about making women feeling ashamed of their bodily fluids (it'd be just as gross to see men's.)

John plummeted in my estimation . A grown man who really should know better ran like a 10 year old boy to show his bounty . Humiliating a woman like that is neither big or clever . As did Darren and Chris

I expected nothing bettter from Gemma but I still felt sick to see three women humiliate another like that
Tiffany seemed to be the only one apart from Jeremy who coped on that they were really crossing a line .

Looking through it. Tiff was the only one that didn't get involved, well neither did Scotty he just said twice 'they've been there for ages'. I can't remember the last time so many people were sticking their noses into a disagreement. I like how Tiff acted as the most mature (and Jeremy actually). Everyone else was childish at one point or another.

Embarrassment yes! Bullying NO
See how quick she was to talk about bullying. I'll bet she was laying in her bed thinking that one up and decided to fess up so that people would feel sorry for her - give herself a storyline.

I absolutely cannot stand when people pull the bully card like that !

That's what I was like with the "David is dead saga as I hadn't watched it" I read it on here and was literally crying with laughter

Sadly yes... The mustard was truly out of the jar the moment he chose to march into the bedroom, eager to name and shame.

The dissapointing thing for me with John isn't even his behaviour here though, it was the complete denial of it afterwards. And he has the audacity to shout, "Own it!" at one stage.
