You'll probably need to set your recorders for these as
The Time Warrior omnibus edition is on tomorrow afternoon on the Horror Channel
and straight after is the Hammer Films version of Quatermass and the Pit.
The brilliant film Brighton Rock (with William Hartnell) is also on tomorrow morning.

Quatermass and the Pit is one of my favourite films of all time, absolutely brilliant.
If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favour and watch it. Such a shame it will have commercial breaks in it, as it's one of the few films I know that runs at breakneck pace all the way through, with absolutely no spurious padding.
Sadly, that will be spoilt by commercial breaks.
As an aside, talking of Hammer Films, The Devil Rides Out is another example, and another of my very favourite films, dodgy 1960s special effects and all!

Would anyone care to recommend Agents of Shield or Agent Carter?”

I'll add another voice to those saying that both DD and JJ are terrific television.

Agents of Shield was rank average for half a season, but once the crossover with Captain America II happens, everything goes to shit around Episode 13 or 14 and it turns into a really decent show that's been getting better and better for the last season and a half.

I think Agent Carter is really funny and intelligently written but the second series has been worse than the first in truth and isn't anywhere near as compelling.

I actually like Supergirl too...

Daredevil Season 2 - now available on Netflix.

Worth watching if only for Charlie Cox's bum.

What I'm planning to do is watch The Key To Time series around Summer time. It's a part of classic Who that I know very little about. So although it's obviously old now, it will be a new series for me personally.

If I hold off until Summer, it will bridge the gap nicely between the Christmas specials.

Think the bbc should re show two stories from each new who doctor ( fan poll ) .. so 2 from eccleston.. 2 tennant... 2 smith .. 2 capaldi.. also chuck in name of doc and day / night of doctor for Hurt.. 10 episodes...

Even Elektra thinks so...

It's 18 rated, and definitely not suitable for the younger end of the Doctor Who audience or those of a squeamish disposition, but having recently decided to give it a go - and ended up binge watching the entire 6 series over about 3 weeks to catch up - I have to recommend The Walking Dead.

It's all about the characters and their moral dilemmas and consequences. How far are they willing to go to survive? With the ever present threat from the walkers there's also always the tension and then the horror of the situations and gore. There's lots of blood and gore.

And the walkers aren't the worst threat...

100% agree with GDK - The Walking Dead is amazing. Every episode is event telly.

If anyone here watches Flash and/or arrow as I do, they might be interested to know that there is to be a supergirl/flash crossover (in supergirl). I think it's already aired in the US but in UK it's still a bit away.

It has already broadcast in the US (just last night I think) and had amazing reviews!

I saw this movie today. SOD the critics. I thought it was superb. A long film that whizzed by in the blink of an eye - its dramatic, beautiful to watch, emotional and - at times - very funny. Honestly. Go see!

Is there a blonde actress with certain attributes that could pull it off?

On the subject of Agent Carter, her accent fascinates me.

I know the actress is dual nationality, but its a bit of a turn on!

Keeping it BBC I cannot recommend strongly enough "Line of Duty".

The first two series are on Netflix and they're decent enough but the third series just ramped it up x10. I'm not surprised that it's BBC2's highest rated show for 15 years and it's been a good many years since I've been shouting at the TV tearing my hair out, jumping up and down in the lounge but that was exactly my reaction watching the latest series finale.

Brilliant writing. Brilliant acting. Brilliant production. TV Drama at it's very best.
