Am I the only one who thinks that she is just emotionally immature and needy, with a bf who probably doesn't treat her as well as she might imply, who has actually met someone who she really connects with, but is too scared to completely admit it - hence the fickle stuff. Oh, and a bit of a messy cow too 😂

No, you're not the only one.

I felt so sorry for her about the knicker nonsense. Come on. That's just mean.

I have had a "soft spot" for Steph from day one. She's a very insecure girl. I just wanna give her a big hug to be honest and can understand why Jeremy feels protective of her (whether people agree with that or not). I'm sure she is very infuriating to live with at times due to her "scattiness". This will greatly annoy others (not to mention the viewers!), which can lend itself to them feeling they have "had enough", in turn leading to damn right nastiness. So, I can understand their behaviour towards her, but don't condone it.

"Emotionally immature" is a very apt description. Which is why Jez's emotional maturity is a perfect fit in a way.

I agree with you totally. She's obviously flawed and has some growing up to do but her actions are rooted in thoughtlessness and insecurity. They're not coming from a place of malice or hate - which can't be said of her adversary, GC/Gemma.

I really like Stephanie. She has spirit and a sense of fun.

I can't help but keep warming to her. Despite her flaws she just seems so vulnerable emotionally.

I wonder if she can win? I really see no malice from her, just a confused girl. And I think her statement the other night that she was going to marry Sam, and 'yes isn't he fit' was also an example of her extreme insecurity and indeed her need to say the right thing to counter balance her other utterings! Despite what the others may think, I think she and Jeremy are a great match and the main issue is that deep down she knows they are a better match than her and Sam. But she's scared to just say it. And she is a messy cow 😂

To be honest I think her romance thing or whatever she calls it with Jez whilst having a boyfriend whom she has told people she wants to marry when she gets out shines her in a really bad light. For that, I disliked her. I thought those who commented on it in the house had a point, as I thought the same. It's out of order.

But when I watched last nights episode (Saturday evening) I think my opinion changed
She is obviously a messy cow ... No big deal really, hardly a hanging offence
I think she has been wrong to cuddle up and kiss Jez like she has. She has twisted that poor lads head around and around confusing herself and him into the process, but the way she has now being alienated from the group is quite uncomfortable to watch
I'm sad to see Daniella has been dragged in with Gemma .... In my opinion Daniella is better than that. Gemma has come across as a bit of a bully. I know Gemma from Towie so I know what she is like but I never really though of her as a bully before.
To me Gemma is a big girl who lives in the media spotlight and she obviously takes a lot of knocks for being big & that must be tough. I thought her defence mechanism was to lash out like she does. But this thing with Stephanie, I have seen a different side & im afraid I think she is being quite nasty especially when she walked into the bedroom and said dick!!!! as Steph walked by.

It's taken me a long time to see it though.

I can't help liking her too. I suspect neither Sam or Jeremy are right for her. Her bond with Sam doesn't seem strong enough and I think Jeremy would bore her soon enough. I think she'd be better off with a Scotty type - more exuberant but with a bit of common sense to keep her from being too reckless.

She's just rather minging with her hygiene. However, don't worry seems Jeremy doesn't mind handling dirty knickers even when he doesn't know who they belong to

I agree with OP, I can't help but love her. Her lack of self-awareness is baffling at times and infuriating, but everything she's done she's done with good intentions IMO. She isn't mean-spirited. She's just being herself, with no front on whatsoever. While the majority of them are there being careful about the image they are portraying, her and Jeremy are just getting on with it and staying true to themselves in spite of what people think and for that I applaud them.

I genuinely feel for her, going through these feelings for Jeremy that she wasn't expecting - she said to him on Friday's episode in the bathroom 'Before I came in the hardest thing I had to worry about is what I'm havin for me tea!'

I also saw an article where her mum had said she was guilty of mollycoddling Steph due to her asthma and allergies so that might explain some of why she is the way she is with not taking responsibility. I think she will have gained the most from the experience and she will hopefully learn from it. She has a lot of growing up to do but she's not a bad person, we all make mistakes. Really want them both in the final

Get a grip! He's just sleazy and wants to get into her knickers and why is he still there after all the exposés about him in the national press today?

Jeremy's just a sleazy git who is perfectly capable of looking after himself.

I don't think she's horrible. I couldn't care less who her boyfriend is. I have no interest in her and Jeremy . I've been bored rigid with the whole thing and don't want to see or hear any more of it. However, that doesn't mean she is a horrible person. There are some actaully horrible people into there and I like how steph stands up to them. I'd rather she won than gemma. Tiffany, Scotty or Daniella.

In her favour, Stephanie is full of enthusiasm and generally 'happy' in her disposition

The thing that gets to me most is the way she deflects away from her own shortcomings by laying blame somewhere else

For instance, when she canoodles with Jeremy it's not the canoodling that's wrong ... it's people mentioning it

When she dumped Megan's new clothes in a sodden heap on the floor, it wasn't disrespecting someone else's property that was wrong ... it was Jeremy throwing her in the pool

When her dirty knickers get 'shown' it wasn't leaving them lying around that was wrong ... it was the 'showing' of them ( she does have a point that it was unkind to expose her underwear, but she completely disassociated the unkind act from her own slovenly behaviour ... like the one had nothing to with the other )

She seems unwilling, or unable, to make the connection between her own behaviour and the consequences that follow

That's my main beef with her, although, that said, she's been a real value for money housemate and I'm glad she survived the last eviction

What? You mean the same "national press" fronted by the Daily Mail? The same press who are known for hacking phones, secretly filming famous people....and then going home to sniff their own lines of charlie. That press?

Has any past BB female ever left their dirty knickers on the bathroom floor following discharge? we know from the transscript Scotty says they had been there for a few days not just put there.

Being messy is one thing, being foul is something else.
