From Stuart Murphy's blog in March 2014:-
Quote:
“From the other side of the Atlantic, we brought Sky customers brand new HBO series True Detective, a gritty and intriguing crime drama set in Louisiana starring Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Debuting in the top ten at number seven, the non-linear viewing figures for this show are not far short of astonishing, with more than half a million viewers downloading the show on demand to their Sky+HD box and just under a quarter of a million watching on the move through Sky Go. The sheer scale of these numbers illustrate perfectly just how much Sky customers love the combination of great content which they can enjoy when, where and how they want.”
High figures for Sky Go and they're from two years ago, yet BARB's TV Player Report is showing ridiculously low numbers.
The current report shows the highest 28 day consolidated Sky Go figures, for an MTV show Ex On The Beach of 32,471!!
I know BARB are only reporting Apple for Sky Go, but why the massive discrepancy?
Surely Sky know more than BARB how many are using Sky Go?
