I had a few quid on Houghton for Lance Todd Trophy. Even Tony Smith said in the Presser he thought he was MoM. What a game though. Incredible. Best Wembley final I've ever seen live ( including 1980 )

Agreed good game much better than last year's one sided drubbing.
Chap sitting couple of seats from us was a "walk up" and had no idea of what
League was about but in no time he soon got the idea and was shouting and cheering with the rest of us.

Only wish that the RFL/Wembley would sort out the pre-match "entertainment" Don't they have a volume control on the tannoy system - that damn music blaring out I had to shout to make myself heard to the people I went with.

How on earth did Widnes pull that off? Heroic defending, brain-dead attacking.

Even more of a heroic performance by Widnes considering whistle happy Bentham giving Wigan penalties every few minutes and they still couldn't win.

What a win , after the way we started we looked like the old leigh but we settled down and played the conditions well , Hull KR were up against it with some bad injuries and missing Albert Kelly ,one more win and we should do it

Isn't one of your games against Batley?. Very winnable. If you've not already done it, I think that will see you home.

Well done.

Ah shurrup.

Leigh are up I'm sure. 4th and 5th will be two from HKR, Huddersfield and Salford

Looking at The Remaining Fixtures I get the final points as

Leigh 12
Giants 10
HKR 8
Salford 8

So just 1 extra win or defeat for any of those 4 could drop them into or save them from The £1m Game, though it would take a shock defeat for Leigh to drop to 4th

I suspect that the final game HKR v Giants loser will play Salford in the Million Pound Game

Thought he was very disrespectful to the championship teams last night on the SL show , saying the SL teams should get more money at Batleys expense . He would soon change his tune if Hull KR got relegated ,

I think Hull KR will be too strong and avoid relegation even though they have got some horrendous injuries

I know it's only half time, but I'd like to welcome Leigh to the Super League.

Well deserved and earned.

This Huddersfield performance has got to be one of the worst I have seen. No desire at at all and giving away tries for fun.

So will it be Huddersfield vs Salford in the MPG?

Even though Salford are bad, they can be Huddersfield for sure.

Well, I very nearly jumped the gun!

I bet Leigh fans were bricking it. It will have made the final whistle all the sweeter.
