Well, I very nearly jumped the gun!

I bet Leigh fans were bricking it. It will have made the final whistle all the sweeter.
Mrs Gulftastic said something about you jumping the gun

Pleased for Leigh, nice to see them get promotion and pleased for Mickey Higham who's always been a warhorse and warrior.

Interesting now. Rovers, Giants and Salford will be fighting it out for 3rd, 4th and 5th

O Leigh O Leigh O Leigh

What a game great first half , second half thought we give some excitement

Job done with 500'000 funding and deep pockets from Derek Beaumont

Very interesting now to see who goes down

Think it will be between Hudderfield and Salford

Good lord, Warrington. Appalling choke job, against 12 men, no less.

So who will come top and I guess they get an advantage going into the play-offs?

1st and 2nd get home ties. Warrington and Hull can still finish in any of the top 3 positions. Best Wigan can do is 2nd

Amazing game in the NRL Play-Offs yesterday, NQ Cowboys putting out the Broncos in extra time after yet again an incredible bit of play by Johnathan Thurston to get the last-minute equaliser in real time.

There are many, many reasons I'm glad I'm not a Salford fan, but that display today is pretty high up on the list.

Just utterly awful at every level. It's a tragedy that a gang of bunglers like that could kill off a club that has existed since 1873.

Another poor, poor effort from my Rhinos. The team is bereft of any kind of game plan, aside from four barges (not always forwards), aimlessly throw it down the line hoping for someone to pull a rabbit out of the line, then a poor kick on the fifth.

The discipline was abysmal, as was ball retention.

I'm grateful for all we've won under the man, but we are crying out for some fresh ideas at the helm. I want Brian McDermott to go at the season's end. I don't think it will happen.

The sooner they get back to the Australian play-off system the better, I think. This year has just been deadly with so many meaningless games at what ought to be the climax of the season.

Just seen this

Meaningless games at the climax of the season ?

This weekend couldn't have been scripted better

Thurs - Fight for Middle 8s title
Fri - League leaders shield play off
Sat - do or die for £1m game

Its perfect

Obviously there will be matches at the end that count, but the current protracted format needs the teams to be competitive. Wakefield, Widnes and the Catalans have been hanging around taking beating after beating. It would be better the teams that are not good enough or out of form are dispatched more quickly.

Whilst Warrington were the better side and deserved to win, that last VR decision was a joke.

'No clear evidence'?

Apart from the evidence we all watched!
