Summer sport hey.
SL should start in March. In 1996 it was 29th March. Starting early Feb and conditions like in Wigan tonight is ridiculous. |

Rugby League survived for donkeys years being played right throughout the winter, i dont think it's a problem. You can get heavy rain in June
Guys rolling about in the mud and an error ridden game is not that. You are right England will always get rain but I still think early Feb is too early. |

I'm sure that they said during commentary that Saints won the corresponding fixture 50-4 last season

What a joke decision by the video ref that was.
Saints players thinking about the Roosters game? They need improve ten fold or they will get another battering. |

I'm hoping that one day, maybe one day soon, Eddie stops going on about 'If any team can come back from this, it's St Helens!'.
That hasn't been true for years! |

What a great performance by the Red Devils. They weren't lucky winners, they totally outplayed Saints
And how much better was Sky coverage tonight without Stevo ? |

Hull do look good, but they'll need a sterner test than the utter tripe served up by Catalans tonight. They gifted so much possession to Hull, it almost seemed like a training run out for FC at times.

One of the very worst Leeds performances I've seen in 30 years of following them. Add to that some serious looking injuries, and it adds up to an absolute catastrophe.
Next week could get somewhat messy. |

Pre Super League Winter Rugby was just as good if not better the then product served up today, don't believe the Sky TV Hype that the introduction of Summer Rugby has increased the skill on show. One thing is for certain it was a much more competitive sport pre Super League.

Hopefully Leeds can run the Cowboys close but it's a big ask. |

One of Leeds' all-time best performances so far....unfortunately I think they are going to run out of gas and the sky will fall on their heads at some point in the next hour.
