I heard Nick Hancock on the radio the other day - he's one who's star shone brightly for a few years then burnt out.......

On the same radio show they said Kevin Day was on next week.............he's another one !

I'm expecting Tony Slattery any week now...............
I saw Slattery on a training video years ago. About meetings or something. It was dreadful.

Isn't Kevin Day one of the staff gag writers for Have I Got News For You? He also presents a number of small comedy bits for Football programmes.
I like him a lot but he does seem to have disappeared from the limelight

He used to be on radio 5 live pretty often

Cheers guys, didn't realise it had been off that long. What's wrong woth thread revival? Why was this show axed in a period when panel shows were and still are thriving?

I never got why BBC1 had two sport panel/quiz shows in there schedule, surely one was enough.

After the arrival of Rossy it was pitiful.

Seemed like a fun show, initially.

But that was in the 90s.

TTIAO was meant to be bit more risque & more of a comedy panel show about Sport than QOS hence it was always on after the Watershed, the odd thing is QOS has become like TTIAO but no where near as funny. TTIAO went downhill after Nick Hancock left

Personally, I hate how QoS has turned out.

It's a caricature of what it used to be when it was basic & good.
