I was stunned at her selfishness in accepting the treat with those conditions, to then moan about the quality of the blow dry - just a horrible, horrible person.

If I'd been BB i would have 'rewarded' her blatant rule break of going through the fire exit AGAIN by dumping slime over her freshly blow dried hair so she either had to stay like that or wash it in the cold water she'd subjected everybody else to all day.”

It was only for one day though, it's not like it was for an entire week.

Trust me, I live in Essex (but am originally from the North) and would never dream of going into my hairdresser and demanding "an Essex blow dry"

He'd probably just look confused then tell me to fack off.

No it's not. I'm more than capable of washing and drying my own hair (and it is my own hair not extensions) to a reasonable standard.

I actually think my hair feels cleaner when I wash it myself than when they do it at the hairdressers.

It's not only been one day though has it. They lost all their hot water to bail her out of Prison last thursday as well. Fair enough, not consecutive days but it is becoming a pattern, they all have to do without for Gemma to be a spoilt madam.

she WANTED and got it blow dried

is she incapable of washing her own hair or would she just let it stay dirty if she didnt get what she wants

I'm Northern born and bred but been down her twelve years this year. That said, I do still have my own hair (never had extensions which always appear to be way more trouble than they're worth) and miraculously haven't lost the ability to wash and dry it myself

I've seen the bonding and glue numerous times now. Awful.

I've not watched from the start - has she not washed it since she's been in the house?

She also brushed it all out and clipped it up as soon as she got back as well!!

My best mate are from Essex (Brentwood and Hornchurch) and they'd get the absolute p*ss ripped out of them if they ever turned up with hair looking like a Dynasty tribute act. I know I repeat it time and time again but it's QFT, in all my time I spend around that area, I have never encountered anyone even vaguely like the TOWIE lot.
Obviously I mix with very weird people as they still use straighteners, wash their own hair, wear clothes that fit, have normal human coloured skin and wear slap that hasn't been through a cement mixer and troweled on.

People like Gemma live in a little mini TOWIE bubble a long way removed from the world around them. They're like exhibits in some strange human zoo paraded out for day trippers to gawp at

Me too .. but I always remember you are in a very vulnerable position if you are rude to a hairdresser who has a pair of cutting scissors very close at hand .. I'm talking talking inflicting wounds here but a shite haircut can sideline you for weeks

Hilarious the way the thread had turned out. Full of people saying I've never had extensions myself but still putting in their two pennies about how they would care for them if they did and not understanding it's s tad more difficult to wash and blowsy them than natural hair.

I thought she was very abrupt with to the hairdresser and if you can't take care of your extensions yourself (which lots of people can't) then it's a daft hairdo to pick for BB.

Amazed that the wimps let the selfish one get her own way. Did they do some editing to make it look like they were all just kissing her arse?

Okay, fair enough. Maybe those of us that have never had extensions don't know the difficulties involved with caring for them but as you say, that is something she should have thought of before going in and it is still no excuse for speaking to the hairdresser like he was shit on her shoe and being so ungrateful about it afterwards considering the sacrifice the other Housemates made for her to get it.

Didn't Steph say her hair was extensions too? She's not carrying on like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had negotiated a 'hair-care' clause into her CBB contract. Sounds as though she never does her own hair anyway, so would have thought about that in advance!

Let's not forget, had she not got this blow dry she was heading for a break down. Her ignorance knows no bounds. A mental breakdown isn't something associated with not getting your feckin hair done. Ignorant lump of a woman

Why the hell can she not do her own hair? Full of self importance and delusions of grandeur, that's why.

I worked with a girl who got really long extensions and for the first few days was like Rapunzel and swishing it everywhere. Then the fun stopped it started to hurt her head and give her headaches but she protested it was best thing she had done.

So to avoid the drag on her head decided it would be best to wear it in a GIANT bun on her head until she thought she got her monies worth. Bun was twice the size of her head ! They were hideous.

They should let that hairdresser into the house at night and he should cut all of her hair off whilst her ladyship is asleep.

Then BB can blame the ghost.

Well, my hair is mousey too. Personally I think the natural look is better than the peroxide look.

But I guess some people prefer it bleached with black roots.

I do agree, those who haven't had extensions can't really comment.

As someone who has worn extensions for years it's a bloody chore to wash, blowdry and straighten them, however it's possible, I do it, I wash my extensions once a week and the top part of my hair (where no extensions are) more frequently. To me Gemma is just lazy, she probably goes to the hairdressers to get her hair washed twice a week. Yes as I said it's a chore but they have sooo much time in there, I think I'd be doing my hair just to waste time!

As for her extensions being 'expensive' if they were that expensive then they would be able to take straighteners, mine aren't expensive, last around 9 months and can and do take straighteners... she's just bloody lazy!

*edit just to point out I'm not from Essex
