I get that she's amassing lots of column inches and social media noise because of the way she's acting but surely that will have a negative impact on her businesses?
I couldn't stand Charlotte Crosby, but she always had a strong core of support... the same can't be said for Gemma can it?

Or are the businesses a lost cause and she's on CBB to try and reinvent herself?

I don't think Charlotte was an asshole like Gemma so she didn't need to rebrand herself. I thought she was boring and didn't understand why pissing the bed made you win but there you go. It will be interesting to see what Gemma does next to repair her "brand" since she's already done the jungle (Well...), or actually what BB has in store for her in the coming weeks - you know they've set her fall up only to build her back up again.

I think she thinks that by being on CBB customers will come flocking to her shops, and some might, but many might be put off re how she's behaving on the show. If she can look down at HMs, she could do same with potential customers. Being on CBB isn't doing her nor her business any favours.

She messed up the jungle then the last jungle Vicky Pattison won easily and Ferne McCann now both get regular tv work. Charlotte Crosby is a pain but is also ahead of Gemma in the pecking order

Gemma feels she should be getting tv work like those two hence the CBB "opportunity" and she has enough to fans to still support her.

Perhaps c5 want to offer her work as well as an alternative to some of those I mentioned

I don't think it'll really affect anything. If anything, she might get a bit of a boost from her name being known more.

Ch5 mostly import American shows, so they don't have a lot of budget left for creating opportunities for reality stars.

That's why it's important to get really far on I'm a Celebrity, because Itv commision reality shows all the time. Mark had one for a short while then he went on to some presenting work. Joey had his own show and Fern and Vicky now do presenting work.

What does Fern present? I know Vicky is on Loose Women.

I wouldn't knock it, that's where Rylan started after X Factor. Better than being on TOWIE anyway.

My first thoughts were to expect that her antics have ruined her image. Now im not so sure.

Difference is that Ferne is fairly likeable and also did well in IAC. Gemma has very little going for her.

I'm going to stand up for Gemma and say she's doing a lot more good giving employment to a number of people then any of the others . She also says she's a lot happier since leaving Towie .
