Is there such a DVD player I can plug into my downstair TV to watch things I've recorder on my media center pc?

I know there probably is a way I could encode them to play on a normal DVD (no idea how to do this!), but it would be simple to just play them straight from a media center created DVDR.

You need a Media Center Extender. This sits next to your TV and can play all the content on your MCE PC. You connect to the PC with a wired or wireless (802.11A/G) LAN.

Unfortunately these things are not available in the UK yet - the current rumour is that they will launch in Q4 2005
