He wasn't a crap hairdresser at all, he obviously is used to more natural looking people. I thought her hair looked good, soft and silky- until she kept messing it about.

If I'd have been him I'd have taken her extensions out and said that's what I thought she wanted.

I wonder if she acted like that because she didn't think it would be broadcast?

I mean, putting myself in her situation, if I went into another room to have my hair cut I'd assume it probably wasn't being filmed; or even if it was, I'd assume it would be classed as too boring to make the daily TV show.

I'm not making excuses for her behaviour, but it could explain why she was so offhand with him.

So this was the real Gemma then?

I reckon so.

I knew what it would be, yet I still clicked it! What is wrong with me?

I dont suppose there is any way you can mis-hear "use the big round brush" as " use the number one clippers"?

Yes indeed. You often hear stories of how 'celebrities' (and I use the term loosely here) are nightmares offscreen. I'm sure we've all heard tales from cabin crew for instance.

There are definitely some people who see themselves as better than those who are serving them, but yet wouldn't act like that if they knew their actions and comments were being broadcast to the country.

Exactly.

The idea that this was an insight into the private her, not the 'GC' that kicks off to 'make a TV show' and be entertaining just presents her in even a worse light as a human being

I think she has awful hair, it looks like a wig. But saying she does not have the manners of pig is insulting to pigs

I got some free headphones delivered to me on Saturday because something I got from EE was faulty, the headphones are brill much better than the ones I use now, if they were faulty then I can send them back, but if they weren't amazing quality, who am I to complain about it, they didn't cost me anything, I'm just glad I got them at no cost to me at all. People like Gemma do my head in!”

i won a manicure and hair day i was so excited but the nail polish started to chip off the same day and my hair looked like i had been pulled through a hedge backwards i could have cried and yes i did moan about it i was so disapointed to me personal appearance is important but i would'nt have moaned about headphones

I get where you are coming from, yes something that effects your personal appearance would be upsetting and my headphones are a lower priority, I didn't even know I was getting the headphones till EE texted me saying that the powerbar batteries that they had given to the public may have a hazard fault on them, if I returned they would give me a £20 voucher which I could spend online, so I thought I would treat myself to some headphones. I just think sometimes if you get something for nothing then you should appreciate it a bit more.

That's the most depressing thing people like her keep getting pulled back onto TV (you just know she will do the rounds on ITV). That keeps her in the media spotlight

I fell out really badly with Smith over people like her. Sorry I don't see her entertaining
she's there for one reason if they need manufactured rows/tension someone like her will deliver no problem.

Rows will always happen in Big Brother but when producers are putting people in that just for that reason its not only boring but making a mockery what the show is about. If you want to see a bunch of Scrubbers screaming blue murder Jeremy Kyle does it much better.

The Genuine spontaneous arguments cant be replicated but this current production team seem to base each series around conflict with everything else taking 2nd place.

Did you enjoy the pampering when it was actually happening or was it all about the end result for you?

I just ask because for me, part of the enjoyment of a manicure, getting my hair done, make up done is the actual process - having a near head message with the shampoo etc. Unless i was having it done for a specific reason, like attending a wedding or party straight after, (in which case i wouldn't trust a freebie but pay for somebody I know and trust to style it in a way i like to do it), i would just shrug my shoulders and either wash and restyle it or get the nail polish remover out.

Unless it is something that is going to last a long time and can't be repaired (like a hair cut), i would still just appreciate the fact that i had got something for free and the pampering I enjoyed when it was actually being done.

As i say, if it was for something specific where i wasnk( going to have the time to sort it out afterwards, i would dig my heels in, tell them i wasn't happy and demand they sort it out but as i say, i would have been paying for them to do it which makes a huge difference. And i would still be more polite than Gemma was when saying I'd rather it was styled differently.

Precisely. I'm not someone who gets anything done particularly, well, I get my hair done in as it's blue so I need it bleached but i'm not one of those types of girls. The idea of being that unbearable when it's being done as a treat is revolting to me. I'm probably far too polite but ultimately, her entitlement was repulsive.
