Help with new I phone 6

Ok be patient with me as I'm a technophobe

3 years ago my daughter A bought my daughter B an I phone 5 for her 14the birthday and B has a contract with Vodaphone. Daughter As father pays for her I tunes.
Daughter A has just upgraded her to a new I phone 6 .
The problem is that when B received the new phone and SIM card the tel no is her fathers phone number. Strange as apart from her I tune acc he has nothing to do with the phone.
Daughter A currently on holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia and I am not authorised to access her vodaphone acc.
They did advise that daughter B went into my phone and change the number but that doesn't work , she is currently not here either!
Is there anything that can be done ? Why does she have this problem ?
Any advice would be appreciated.
