Size of the house on Channel 4 compared to Channel 5

I've just started rewatching the last series on Channel 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSm5oursiKc

One big thing that's striked me is, it looks (the living room in particular) SO much smaller than the house now. Are my eyes deceiving me or have Channel 5 massively increased the size of it?

The garden bigger now than it used to be.

Yes when Channel 5 started their run of BB in 2011 they invested in a bigger house.

C5 have definitely increased the size of the house.

Does anyone know if the house size changed from BB3 to BB11 on C4 as some of the series houses looked bigger than others?

Whilst it roughly stayed the same, there were definitely some changes throughout the years. The BB5 house was absolutely tiny.

I recall the BB3 kitchen and seating area being very high and spacious looking - white walled with a dark floor. The garden seemed large too. If anything it looked its biggest then. But, I think it was in the mid C4 era (after 2002/BB3) it was enlarged slightly.

I went to an eviction in September 2010 and it looked a lot smaller in real life compared to on television - the garden was the same too.
