I have an idea that Scotty T might be jealous of Jeremy being with Steph.

I don't mean that he fancies Steph, I just mean that he's jealous of the idea of Jeremy being with somebody in there and he isn't.
A bit of a male ego thing, where he has to be seen as the house stud. What with a man of his reputation, which is a reputation he wants us all to know about. Hundreds of women he said didn't he?

On last night's HL show the way he looked across at Jeremy and Steph in bed it looked like a look of resentment.
I don't think he gives a shit about Steph having a boyfriend. Remember that this is somebody who claims that he's been with lots of women and wears it with a badge of honour. Excuse me if I don't believe that he'd be morally squeamish about whether somebody has a partner or not.

In fact he's been trying to put a stop to Jeremy being with Steph since the series started. Always trying to put a block on it, and probably been shown to be more vocal about it than anybody else. But is it really because he cares about his 'mate' who he hardly knows, or whether he's jealous that he thinks Jeremy would look more like the house stud than him because Jeremy's got someone and he's got nothing?

Just jealous of the airtime there getting. He wants to win.
That's why he's interested in Tiffany now for more airtime.

It was always intended that Scotty and Megan would be this year's big showmance. As it turns out they were a mere side show. He is probably gutted.

Totally agree, l think that Scott and Megan were suppose to be the fauxmance of the show. He does play with Jeremy's head, maybe he wants Jeremy to himself as a play buddy.

I think it's more that he'd prefer that Steph wasn't around, because he likes Jeremy and would be having a laugh with Jeremy if she wasn't there. As his friendship and loyalty towards Jeremy is developing, he's liking Stephanie less and less, hence nominating her, and treating her coolly.

That as well, naturally.
I think he'd want to see himself as the main catch once they leave the house. Just like other BB housemates past and present he may well want to be seen as more desirable compared to his rivals.

You could see BB itself as the game, but maybe the real game occurs once they leave the house, and the BB house is just an opportunity to place them in a pecking order before they leave the house and the real 'game' begins as they try to get ahead career-wise.
For all we know Scotty T may see Jeremy as his main rival, so may want to be seen to be the more desirable of the two once they leave the house.
It would be a pretty pointless exercise to go into BB if you wanted to use it as a platform to further your career once out of the house but failt to increase your stock.
If Jeremy is going to get the magazine interviews and photoshoots at the expense of Scotty T, then I can see why Scotty T might want to try to neutralize any chance of Jermey and Steph getting together if he can.
I just don't think he would really care about it as much as he claims in the moral sense.

Of course this is mostly conjecture on my part. But I've seen the way he looks at them when they aren't aware and there is an expression on his face that does seem to be saying something displeases him about the relationship or whatever you want to call it.

He's so boring that he needs other people to rub off. He's using them all.

But he already has fun with Jeremy. We see it quite frequently. So it's not as if Jeremy is with Steph all the time.
In fact Scotty T seems to be very limited in whose company he keeps. He only seems to be around Jermey and Steph most of the time. He himself doesn't seem to mix as much as other housemates and seems to stick to that very small group he's in. Most of the time anyway.

I don't think he's all that bothered about whether he wins the show or not. He just wants to have a laugh, get the money and the girls.

He's not jealous of Jeremy. He was giving Stephanie daggers and nominated her when Megan was still in the house. And Tiffany has made it clear that she's up for whatever is on the plate.

I said in another thread a couple of weeks ago that Scott never seems too happy if anyone is in a relationship on geordie shore.

I think he is quite a jealous person.

Yes - sorry.. I should have made more plain that I think he doesn't like Stephanie because she's mucking her boyfriend and Jeremy around. He's been making that plain since the start.

Possibly. Do you think he looks at Jeremy and Steph in terms of airtime, and how much he thinks they'll be getting compared to him?
(I meant 'getting' airtime, but I suppose you could use it as a euphemism for the other thing as well)

It's quite curious how the HL show doesn't show him mixing as much with other housemates. I don't think I've even seen him have a conversation with Tiffany, John, and one or two others.

He's been saying it, but if we were to believe everything BB housemates said in the BB house then all BB housemates would be honest and never lie.

If anyone has ever watched Geordie Shore you would know that although he is a man slut he actually really cares about his friends and hates people who cheat and plays games. He really is just looking out for his friend. He's very much a man's man when it comes to friendship and he hates seeing the way his friend is being played and having to explain himself to Steph about kissing Tiff when his friend is single and can do what he likes. One thing I can say about Scotty T is that he comes across very loyal both in CBB and Geordie Shore. Most of the kick offs he has in Geordie Shore always revolve around friendship!

Oh yes, these 'reality tv' folk aren't as stupid as they like to display.

No doubt he had 'the romance' story in his mind for this year and it went to Steph and Jeremy instead.

Thanks, they're just points though. It is a genuine question because I'm not saying that they're definitely true.
It's just that Scotty T seems to not get talked about as much due to other housemates being paid more attention. So it's probably worth making observations about him if he's going to be the winner of the show.

Now and again though I see an expression on Scotty T's face which appears as though he really doesn't want Jeremy and Steph together. I mean like he REALLY doesn't want it to happen. It almost looks like suppressed anger.

He was voicing his objections as early as it started, and at that point he would have hardly known Jeremy at all.

Maybe he really does care about Jeremy. But surely Jeremy is a big boy now and can make his own decisions.

I don't think he has much in common with most housemates and with jeremy being near his age and alike he just latched onto him.

I've never watched that show, but that's exactly how I see Scotty T.

Okay, I haven't seen Geordie Shore so I wouldn't be any the wiser.
But if we're trying to find the reality about housemates in BB based on the criteria of what they have been like on another structured reality show it's a bit of a flawed premise isn't it? Isn't it like saying Geordie Shore is reality?

I didn't mention him winning or not as having anything to do with it. I did however suggest that what happens post-CBB is probably more important to these people.

I think that Scotty T just doesn't like women like Steph - needy, whiney and hard work. He has stated himself that he is the only HM who is not a drama queen and that he doesn't like "agg". This is why he doesn't have girlfriends - too much hassle and drama.

He would never put up with Megan's contrary nonsense.
