That's not what I've seen on CBB. He made no bones from the start that he's single, up for no-strings sex, and not interested in a proper relationship. No games there.

I haven't seen him on any other shows, so I cannot comment on those.

If he as he claimed has been with hundreds of women I think it's a bit rich for him to tell Jeremy to not trust her because she will dump him when they leave the house.
But I suppose Scotty T is an expert in this area having probably done it multitudes of times himself. Those hundreds of women won't have been long term relationships.

I don't know if you are right or not because I barely notice Scotty T most of the time. For me he is a virtually invisible housemate. But in gerenal I think your comments are interesting and insightful. You could easily be right.

It seems to me (and note my bias in finding Scotty extremely dull) that if he has a rasion d'etre it is that of some sort of super stud (although how he pulls that off beats me). So subconsciously he may feel Jeremy has stolen his clothes so to speak. From that perspective he drew the short straw with Megan who was relatively self controlled in that respect.

It will be interesting to watch him with Tiff if he stays tonight. He is getting enough of a come on there it seems. Will he capitalise on it or return the invitation in kind I wonder.

As someone earlier mentioned he seems to struggle to mix in the house and seems uncomfortable sometimes when not in the company of Jeremy or Megan. It could be choice or it could be that he is socially out of his depth in mixed age company. Jeremy in contrast seems to mix well and has spoken/ chatted with most of the housemates and seems at ease when doing so.

What you mean is that he hates his friends having relationships as that takes some of their time from him and he hates that. He can't maintain one himself because all he thinks of women is as something to shag then cast aside, and he hates it when any of his friends hook up in a proper relationship because it means there are less people to go and play with in the evening, until he decides who his "hole in the fence for the night" is going to be. I would imagine that he's bonked a fair few married or attached women in his time, I doubt his dislike of Steph is anything to do with morals and more to do with her taking away a lot of both his airtime and bromance time.

I agree with the OP. I think he is a bit jealous and I also think he thinks Jeremey doesn't handle Steph the right way.

I reckon the look last night was also maybe to do with Jeremey basically allowing Steph to win the immunity and Scotty resents her getting it as he must be able to guess she was in line to go and instead his mate Jeremey has a good chance of going now. Scotty is not really close to anyone else in the house, if Jeremey goes his little group will have been cut in half and he will get stuck with Stephanie and he'll never get a moment without her.

I'm not very interested in Scotty, but he's ALWAYS seemed resentful of the Steph and Jeremy thing.


I think it's a sort of combination thing.

He wanted to be the 'showmance' male. Him and Megan didn't ring true as anymore than friends to me, but that would have done, however, Steph and Jeremy garnered far more attention.

Scotty didn't like Steph's part in the whole thing also because she was emotionally unfaithful. But this may be a red herring.

For all it's possible falseness, I think there actually IS some connection between Steph and Jeremy and Scotty is actually jealous of THIS.

Right at the beginning Scotty actually said that he'd been in a couple of relationships and was badly burned, so he decided not to bother and to just shag around.

He insists he's having a FANTASTIC time doing this, but actually I'm not so sure.

Lastly, the BROMANCE angle, is compromised by Steph, who is not only the 'love' interest, but also occupies a lot of this 'spot'. I think Scotty resents this too.

There is no real overt animosity with Steph, but Steph has supplanted pretty much all his possible 'roles' and he does come across as resentful sometimes.

Everyone seems to like him - we hear about him cooking, we hear about him working out with John, but we rarely see him on the HL except in a supporting role.

Now Tiff is giving him attention he may get over it a bit.

I have never watched the show but how you have described Scot and his actions in GS are you saying the show is factual, and he is a genuine guy who cares for everyone else and puts them all before himself ? .

BIB Yes I agree with you there. Leaving aside the prexisiting boyfriend and even more how tedious I find the Jeremy/Steph story line, i have to accept I can see a natural rapport. I wouldn't go so far as to suggest them as having the potential for a long lasting relationship but I do believe the frisson is real

I think apart from missing someone else's bumhole to eat. The lad is just a socially awkward vibrating plank. He can't interact on a beyond basic level, no knowledge on anything apart from women and bravado which won't work with other HM's. At least we get some input from Jeremy who is not at all that thick, he can actually hold a convo outside of the superficial with other HM's even his interactions with Stephanie have been intelligent at times.

Yes I do think Scotty is jealous, its the first thing I thought while watching him staring at the lumpy duvet across the room last night.

Scotty T and Megan were meant to be the showmance on everyone's lips. There is not much magazine mileage out of a nearly romance. Still he may as well crack on with Tiffany

I can't work out if Tiff is just playing with Scotty T or if she genuinely fancies him.

I am hoping that she is just having fun in a light-hearted way to fill in the time since no one wants to argue with her.

I think you are right. He's got no storyline. He's not interesting enough to be on his own. He was relying on a showmance and a jack the lad relationship with the boys. It didn't work out as planned. He was in a secondary couple, then his love interest went early. The only other lad is busy with his girl and Scotty doesn't have much else. He always seems to be in the room when Jeremy and Stephanie are there. He's always watching. He doesn't seem to have any other angle to him.
