Gemma was musing why she wasn't married or had a child.
Well the answers are obvious, she's not married because she hasn't found anyone who wants to marry her. (Unsurprising)
As for not having a baby, we'll she has either used birth control or just not fallen pregnant. She may not be a frequent copulator.

However.
She then went on to say that she could have a baby as its only 9 months and she can organise a Wedding in a month so she could bash it all out within a year if she wanted to.

Is this the way people approach marriage and having children these days?
Like its something to knock off a "To Do" list?

Lets face it she would have to bash it out quick so her partner wouldn't have time to run.

I know a few people like this although not to the extreme of fitting it all in one year. I think your biological clock is a big deal for some women in their 30's. I know it played on my mind a lot.

That said, Gemma has had an abortion and a miscarriage in the past so perhaps now she's starting to feel like she's missed the boat.

She did make it sound like a business plan ..

Weeding photo = cupla grand
Baby bump photo = cupla grand
Baby photo & interview = cupla grand

All within one accounting year.

Saddest thing about that conversation, and her earlier comments, was she sees it as finding someone to provide for and to love her , no mention of someone to love

I don't think biology alone is good reason for having a baby. I can't see her being much of a mum.
I didn't know she'd an abortion or miscarriage. Why would I? Does she make these things public. I guess she must.

That's precisely how it struck me. Very sad.
I think she want to be loved, and far too many women have a baby in order to have someone who loves them. This is why we have far too many teenagers from dreadfully neglectful homes having babies. Poor girls and poor babies.

Gemma needs to love Gemma first. She clearly dislikes herself.

I'm beginning to feel for her.
Whilst still maintaining a healthy loathing of course.

I didn't realise she is 35. The way she behaves, I thought she was much younger and just looked rough.

That's typical of a narcissist/sociopath - because of their over-inflated ego and total self-interest, it's all about them and looking out for number one. They are capable of being utterly charming and promising the world to whoever they set their sights on, in order to draw the other person in. However, this is merely a façade, one which they cannot maintain for very long before their true, selfish, ugly side starts to leak through. Any time the issue of their appalling behaviour is raised, they will not even entertain the idea that they could possibly be doing anything wrong and will find the flimsiest of 'reasons' to justify their actions and thereby absolve themselves of any wrong-doing, whilst also chipping away at the other person's self-esteem and belittling them to give a clear message that they are unworthy of deserving happiness and therefore unworthy of them.

I feel that in Gemma's case, all she wants is someone to provide her with what she wants. That person could be anyone, as long as they're prepared to financially support her, cater to her every whim and treat her like the princess she deludedly thinks she is, without them expecting anything (or at least, very little) in return. After all, they are the 'chosen one', granted access to the wonderful world of 'The GC' - what more could they possibly want or need? They are merely there to make her happy, which in turn should make them happy and be reward enough, not to mention eternally grateful to her for being given such a fantastic opportunity.

She is a typical narcissist/sociopath imo. It shows through in her cold, dead eyes.

It sounded strangely technical and I was at the lack of time set aside for her to judge if the chosen one was a wise choice to procreate with, seeing as she will be tied to him forever by it.

Yes my take on her as well & of course BB producers know it as well (which is a little disturbing)

Ultimately Gemma is lazy, she clearly wants to sit on her ass and have a man provide for her. In reality no man is going to be willing to do that for her due to her looks.

To be honest there are a lot of men out there who would gladly give her all their money and worship her and generally be her slave. If you watched the film about Cynthia Payne, you would see a whole host of such men who would gladly fill her tank!

Just playing devil's advocate here.

It must be rough being Gemma Collins - she is in an environment - reality TV - where all the pretty luscious girls are having drama/romance with the young men. Yes they have their bad times but also a lot of good ones too. She sees them kissing, being admired in their bikinis/pretty clothes, being taken out to dinner, spoiled with presents and having fun.

None of the young handsome men go for her (only Arg - and he is obese too). She is doomed to sit on the sidelines and act up with Bobby Norris.

In the house currently, the two young male studs ignore her, she refuses to do the spinning class, knowing she will look bad compared to the others; she can't cook well, she hasn't got a gym honed body; she doesn't sing or play an instrument, she has no discernible talent and she isn't even on TOWIE anymore.

It must be gutting to see Steph have a handsome young man madly in love with her and unable to see her faults despite advice from everyone direction in addition to a year-long live-in partner, who she expects (expected) will present her with a ring. She sees young Megan being canoodled by the hot favourite to win, displaying her peachy bottom with impunity.

All these girls have what she wants and she is relegated to stay relevant by bullying the weaker ones.

It is desperately sad.

Haha, cruel

That's a good point, she wasn't at all concerned about the credentials of her child's father.
Lucky obesity is natural contraceptive, the world could be saved from the horror of Gemma the next generation.
Haha, even crueller, but true.

Well she doesn't look that bad, some men will find her very attractive, I think the barrier is her personality.
I also note that she said she is sick of working like a dog, it seems to me that Gemma does the "providing" in her relationships and perhaps she wants somebody who she feels isn't only with her for financial gain.

To be honest there are a lot of men out there who would gladly give her all their money and worship her and generally be her slave. If you watched the film about Cynthia Payne, you would see a whole host of such men who would gladly fill her tank!
She's not a sex worker.

Yes that was mentioned earlier but I don't know why that's relevant

And therein lies the explanation for Gemma Collins.

It was relevant to the part of your post I highlighted. However, someone else mentioned it before I did so no matter.

She would also do well in clubs where a group of men, maybe a Rugby team, play "Pull a Pig". The person who pulls the ugliest girl wins.

She's not ugly, she's overweight, but she makes a big effort with her hair, make up nails and clothes, she takes a great deal of time over her appearance.

Yes it does and it's vile isn't it,
Usually the men are all pigs in their own right.

I have been thinking that too . She is so very self absorbed , lacks empathy , poor insight into others needs or indeed that anyone could have needs
And her eyes tell a million tales , they are cold , distant and dead
