None of the young handsome men go for her (only Arg - and he is obese too). She is doomed to sit on the sidelines and act up with Bobby Norris.
In the house currently, the two young male studs ignore her, she refuses to do the spinning class, knowing she will look bad compared to the others; she can't cook well, she hasn't got a gym honed body; she doesn't sing or play an instrument, she has no discernible talent and she isn't even on TOWIE anymore.
It must be gutting to see Steph have a handsome young man madly in love with her and unable to see her faults despite advice from everyone direction in addition to a year-long live-in partner, who she expects (expected) will present her with a ring. She sees young Megan being canoodled by the hot favourite to win, displaying her peachy bottom with impunity.
All these girls have what she wants and she is relegated to stay relevant by bullying the weaker ones.
It is desperately sad.”
That's a good, insightful analysis of how she comes across. And yes, it is sad. But it's
the end product of her own lazy, entitled, ungiving, begrudging nature,
not the cause. And it's much easier and convenient for her to see herself as the victim since it puts the blame elsewhere and doesn't require anything that might require real effort from her.
She shows no inclination to change her ways despite knowing (and I'm sure she does, deep down) that she herself - her own attitude - is at the root of all her problems. If she wants a different life, then it has to start with her. If she put even a quarter of the energy she expends on being a MonsterDiva into doing something positive to change herself, good things could follow.
The ball's in her court but rather than chasing it, the lazy mare is waiting for it to come to her. Or, more likely, for someone else to fetch it and juggle it and miraculously make all the changes happen without her having to lift a lazy finger.
She's destined for a very discontented and bitter future.
